I stopped in to eat before exploring the museum. The food was delicious, but I wish the side of soup had been larger. CAM members get a 10% discount.

This place surprised the hell out of me, a cafe and a museum is not a place I would expect to give five stars. But really honestly? They were five stars. it's a really simple menu, And we got very simple dishes, but neither my mom nor I were the least bit disappointed. gigantic club sandwich, a gigantic cobb salad, really light and flavorful dressings, and very fresh produce throughout.

We thoroughly enjoyed our quick, fresh and tasty lunch at the café! Service was fantastic, and the food was reasonably priced with adequate portions. The salads included red and green leaf lettuce, and yummy blue cheese. The coffee was superb, including cold brew.

It's a cute little cafe and a great place to stop after walking around the museum for a while. I loved how light the drinks and food were.

Amazing little cafe in the Cincinnati Art Museum overlooking the courtyard. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They even had a good selection for vegans.

One‑Star Review of the Cincinnati Art Museum I’ve never felt compelled to leave a public complaint until now, but my wife’s visit on May 19, 2025 was unacceptable. From the moment she stepped into the 2nd floor gallery, an employee named Mark shadowed her and her group of girls so closely it felt less like security and more like intimidation. His curt tone and unnerving behavior made what should have been a relaxing afternoon feel downright hostile. They couldn’t even finish seeing that section of the museum because they were so uncomfortable. Feeling singled out in a public institution is bad enough; being treated with open disdain is worse. Hoping for help, she went to the front desk. Instead of listening, the staff brushed it off with a dismissive tone. No apology, no manager, no incident form. A quick glance at other online reviews shows multiple guests have complained of similar behaviors by employees, so this isn’t an isolated slip‑up—it’s a pattern the museum chooses to ignore. Great art deserves a respectful, welcoming environment. Until the Cincinnati Art Museum addresses Mark’s conduct—and trains its front‑of‑house team to take complaints seriously—I can’t recommend visiting.

I always had the impression that the Cafe here was really expensive so I avoided going... It's actually not any more expensive than the average Cafe!! I really liked the wide variety of options. They had plenty of vegetarian options.

Beautiful setting, good service. But I can get better food in diners at half the price. This one features pre-packaged salad dressings, sugar and white flour in sandwiches, burnt coffee, flavorless tea. Art museum cafes in Toledo, Columbus, Akron, St. Louis, Detroit are so much better. Museum cafes in Chicago, Baltimore, and DC are actual destinations.
