One‑Star Review of the Cincinnati Art Museum I’ve never felt compelled to leave a public complaint until now, but my wife’s visit on May 19, 2025 was unacceptable. From the moment she stepped into the 2nd floor gallery, an employee named Mark shadowed her and her group of girls so closely it felt less like security and more like intimidation. His curt tone and unnerving behavior made what should have been a relaxing afternoon feel downright hostile. They couldn’t even finish seeing that section of the museum because they were so uncomfortable. Feeling singled out in a public institution is bad enough; being treated with open disdain is worse. Hoping for help, she went to the front desk. Instead of listening, the staff brushed it off with a dismissive tone. No apology, no manager, no incident form. A quick glance at other online reviews shows multiple guests have complained of similar behaviors by employees, so this isn’t an isolated slip‑up—it’s a pattern the museum chooses to ignore. Great art deserves a respectful, welcoming environment. Until the Cincinnati Art Museum addresses Mark’s conduct—and trains its front‑of‑house team to take complaints seriously—I can’t recommend visiting.
We thoroughly enjoyed our quick, fresh and tasty lunch at the café! Service was fantastic, and the food was reasonably priced with adequate portions. The salads included red and green leaf lettuce, and yummy blue cheese. The coffee was superb, including cold brew. They even offer a gluten-free bun for all of their sandwich sandwiches.

A beautiful cafe with beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered a cold latte and liked it, even though it was our first time trying it. I recommend visiting it☕

Inside the Cincinnati Art Museum is a really nice Cafe to have an enjoyable upscale lunch. They have indoor and beautiful shaded outdoor terrace seating.
Lylie was very nice and helped me on deciding what to order off the menu. No rushing, calm and quiet place to just relax.
I had the most delicious strawberry burrata salad. It was very fresh and the tangy vinegarette was made in house. The burrata was a nice size and brought all the flavors together perfectly.

Hi, I'm not sure if you are the right person to ask, but have you purchased any art collections including canvas in the last 25 years? If so send a message.
My friend and I both ordered the Cobb Salad. The lettuce was old and wilted. It was very evident the lettuce needed to be thrown out. The salad was awful. My friend then got a grilled cheese. It tasted weird because the grill they made it on was not properly cleaned

Wonderful experience at this little hidden Gem nestled in the center of the historic Cincinnati Art Museum! Lovely small but gourmet menu served indoors or on the lovely terrace overlooking the garden courtyard. Very reasonably priced! $ ?

I had a club sandwich, and it would've been excellent except they cooked the bacon to the point where it was as stiff and dry as balsa wood.
Parking: HCAP parking has relocated, and the museum needs to make sure folks know that, otherwise they'll look for it around the DeWitt entrance.
Wheelchair accessibility: HCAP parking is different now. They need better signage to direct drivers to HCAP parking. I don't use a wheelchair, but I do use a folding walker. There is an uphill climb from the parking lot to the main entrance which now has automatic doors. I found it rather challenging.
