Delicious food, kind people, quick service, and everything is gluten free! We each tried an arepa and shared an empanada. We got both plantain chips and sweet plantains. We had to try a bit of everything for our first time. It was all delicious!

If you haven't had an empanada from the arepa place you are absolutely missing out on the best empanada you've ever eaten. Shatteringly crisp masa shell. I love the egplant and potato, my son loves the chicken. Amazing arepas and rice & beans. Very friendly staff 4 amazing salsas. Weve been loving them for years and now you can buy the at Jungle Jims in the freezer section in international foods. Crazy good. Don't miss out!!!

Transcendental empanadas, arepas bursting with fresh fillings, frosty beverages, and a little shop where you can scarf up South American comfort foods and ingredients. The Arepa Place is amazing. My first bite into the chicken empanada sent me on a long journey to a far away planet named Delicious Prime. I landed, mid chew, in a great battle of shredded chicken, buttery flaky fried crust, and an assortment of salsas. There was purple smoke, the screaming of my teeth, and a salty wave of energy that made me urinate my pants. Moments later my wife and daughter shook me awake and I found myself on the floor moaning like a cow in heat. "Are you okay?" they asked, frantically. My response, "more arepas. And some of that aguapanela." The EMT team, curious, ordered some as well. Then, with my EMT team, I transcended back into the fever dream of flavor. Dedicated gluten free. Cute wall decor.

Everything about this place is incredibly memorable and a joy to experience. The dining room is incredibly cozy and is often filled with the delicious scent of hot food. Just about every dish here is a must and is great for sitting down or eating on the go. The staff is always exceptionally polite, even if I am cramming 3 arepa in my mouth simultaneously while making a mess on myself and the table. I cannot recommend giving them a visit more highly. Please be sure to dip your arepa in water if consuming more than one at a time, I am not legally liable for amateur eaters.

This place has a solid menu that sticks to the staples. I had a chicken arepa with plantains and beans. Overall, it was pretty average -- flavors on the chicken and salsa verde were decent. The portion was good. This is just my bias, but the arepa shell was pretty thin, and I prefer thicker arepas. I'd eat it again, but there was no wow factor. Online orders ahead and takeout seem to be the more popular options, but it's also a pretty cozy space with a decent amount of booth and bar seating. My food came out fairly quickly and service was good. I wouldn't deter anybody from trying them; they clearly have a lot of fans!
I was impressed by the thin and crunchy texture of the arepa, very well prepared and good flavor, I will return.
