Really nice Tex-Mex style restaurant in Northside. I got the Veggie Burrito with a Spicy Watermelon Margarita, my date got the Veggie Tacos with a Northside Sour, and we shared the chips and queso. The veggie burrito and tacos were full of flavor and came with two sauces. The spicy margarita was flavorful and delicious. The queso was tasty, though I prefer a thicker sauce. The service was also top notch. Our waiter popped over right away, and our food and drinks came out fast. We were also greeted by the chef after our meal and it was just an extremely enjoyable evening from start to finish. We will definitely be back and are so pleased to have this addition to the neighborhood!

We had a great time at Black Rose. The outdoor patio with three TVs was really nice. The service was so attentive and the drinks were great. We also loved the quesadilla, nachos and homemade guacamole.

Service was very friendly. They have daily happy hours and $3 taco Tuesday. Music was vibing and there were plenty of seats available on a Tuesday evening. 1 of 3 tacos were good (I believe that was the Quesa Birria taco), the chicken and Al pastor tacos were just average. I like the Northside so if I was in the area, I would stop in again. Oh and the cocktails we had were all very tasty, a bit light on the pour in my opinion.

Great vibes here at the Black Rose Cafe. Love having a new black owned business on Hamilton! We went for Taco Tuesday where the tacos are all $3. It was also happy hour with $5 apps and drink specials. We got the Buffalo wings, chorizo taco, QuesoBirra taco, and guacamole and chips. Everything was good and we will be back for either karaoke, DJ, or live music on Fridays. Can't wait!

So I just so happened to stumble upon Black Rose as I was walking around Northside. To my surprise upon walking in, I fell in love with the place instantly. One huge thing I look for off the bat is customer service and they did not disappoint. The overall aesthetic of the place is awesome, great atmosphere inside and outside! (Outside patio dining was very accommodating too, I was told they play live music..also a big win)As for the food and drinks, 10/10..luckily I was there for their $3 Taco Tuesday and Happy hour drink specials which made for a super incredible experience as well. Everything about this spot is a WOULD RECOMMEND..I will be back! The pictures I took aren't the best but I will get more next time I'm back.

The wait time was yikes…friendly staff though.

I love the atmosphere that they are trying to create here! I have a few critiques that are really just constructive criticism, but overall, this is a great spot!I stumbled upon the Black Rose while walking around the Northside area on Saturday evening. There was a DJ playing music and people out on the patio. The owner was outside, and he was very friendly, warm and inviting. I ended up going in for a couple drinks and just to hang out.I was a bit disappointed with how long it took to get a drink. The bartending staff looked very overwhelmed and stressed. It was busy, but it’s important to keep a smile on your face and reassure waiting customers that you’ll be with them soon. After about 15 minutes of standing, waiting for a drink, I asked for a gin and tonic, but the bartender was not able to make it because there was no tonic water. I then asked for a margarita and was told they were out of supplies to make one… so I was forced to take a drink that the bartender made that was supposed to be similar to a Marg, and it wasn’t. :/. I couldn’t even drink the whole thing. Given how busy it was, I didn’t ask for a different drink or complain about it. From that perspective, I wish that for busier nights, the bar was fully stocked and prepared to serve guests and the staff were better prepared to be very busy but attentive to every guest. This would make the experience much better! The patio vibe was cool. Mostly an older crowd of people. I appreciated that there was someone coming around to clear the tables of cups and plates frequently! I did not try any of the food, so I would definitely come back here again to try some of the menu. And I would come back during a time where it is not as busy, just to see what it’s like at baseline.Again, overall I’d say the environment and the vibe is nice! I give it a 4 because of the long wait for drinks, inability to get what I wanted, and less than friendly bartenders, however it is a new business, so it will need time to work out the kinks. I’ll return and support! Excited to see the growth overtime.

Attended the grand opening and it's a cute little bar with a nice patio for warm days. Drink and food specials, which were both pretty good. Drinks were also pretty strong which I appreciate. Friendly staff and on Fridays they have a live band which was really good. I would visit again.

Great service and food

Ordered the tacos. Received a singular taco. It was a good taco, but no taco should cost $6.If the menu had stated that they were $6 each I wouldn't have ordered it
