Fantastic spicy bloody Mary and a wonderful Irish ass, both made with Home made ingredients. The service was extraordinarily nice. Looking forward to coming back for comedy night and Appellation performances.

Super cute, cosy atmosphere with cute and quirky details to boot.
At first, I thought the prices were a bit steep (especially for brunch) but once I saw the portion size and tasted how good it was, I immediately took back my initial judgement. The food came out piping hot, incredibly well seasoned, and looked BEAUTIFUL. I wasnt expecting such delicious or good looking food from what I initially thought was a dive-bar kind of place.
They were even willing to make accommodations for my diet, which I'm super grateful for - so if you're vegetarian/vegan, know that there's at least one thing on the menu (thats not a veggie burger!!!! Yay!!!)at any point during the day - and its delicious.

Music wasnt too loud, heat wasnt blasting like crazy, and the environment was super laid back and cozy.
They have a great variety of some hard-to-find local craft beers as well, which was a pleasant surprise. You can grab them to go from their fridges up front, or enjoy them there.

One of my favourite things about this place is that there's a modified vending machine near the kitchen, full of various creations from local artists, shops, and more with a wide variety of items (from mystery trinkets boxes, to handmade jewelry) at a pretty big range of price points.
It was such a fun and unique touch to the space that I got multiple things from it - it felt good to be able to support the artists who had their items featured, and it was a fun and whimsical little addition to an already wonderful experience.

I would highly recommend going here if you enjoy a laid back, artsy venue with delicious food, great service and a bit of whimsy.

The Comet is Cincinnati’s overall best bar. They have no televisions and that is the point. Rock shows, drag shows, reggae, hip hop, bluegrass, rockabilly, improv, standup, all of it. All are welcome and everybody has a blast. Great burritos too!

My partner and I have been coming here on Sundays for brunch for over a year and I'm never going to tire of the Country Benny. Omg. It's pure bliss. He gets something different every time. Sometimes the Chicken & Waffles, sometimes a Hot Mess. He experiments while I dance in my seat while eating the most perfect homefries ever. Everyone who works there is great. Professionally run but is also warm, comfortable.

Wayne is lovely. The brunch is the best in the city on a Sunday morning and there's always a show or well curated juke box to keep you entertained. Been coming here for 20 years and hope to be coming for 20 more!

Favorite bar since high-school (shhh). Great jukebox, awesome nachos, super chill.

Came in for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed the atmosphere — warm, welcoming, and great service all around. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. While the gravy was decent, it wasn’t quite as flavorful as I’d hoped. In hindsight, I probably would’ve been better off ordering it à la carte.

That said, everything else I saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. I’m definitely planning to come back for an event and to try some of the other dishes on the menu. Plenty of potential here!

The employees are nice but I actually cried real tears after I ate there bc the food was that terrible and it cost so much money. $14 dollars for a bowl of just BOILED chicken, canned beans, rice, and onions. And nothing is seasoned. I did not finish even half of it. Just go to chipotle please😭😭😭

We frequented Comet when visiting my sister. Sunday brunch was absolutely delightful. Staff is friendly. We also went on Monday evenings for tacos and margaritas - just delicious. I miss Comet… can’t find any similar experience where I live.

Great dive bar, great food, great drinks. It can get busy and service can get kinda wonky, but I don't know what else you'd expect for a hopping spot. Also some great specials, brunch, and live music can be pretty killer for such a small spot.
