I used to love going to The Goody Shop as a kid. I even worked as an employee for many years as a teen. My parents still live down the street. I’ve taken my family to The Goody Shop 3 times over the last two years and each time has not been a pleasant experience. The service, professionalism, and expectations have gone way down. We visited 2x through the drive thru and 1x we sat at the picnic tables. Both times through the drive thru I ordered a flurry and strawberry shortcake. The flurries were over flowing and dripping as the girl handed it to me through the window. They made complete messes.
The most recent visit was last night. The Goody Shop was out of bananas, their slushee machine was not working, and their orange ice cream was too soft is what we were told while ordering. No big deal, we changed our order to accommodate. We were served 4 very poorly made cones. These cones would not have been allowed served when I was working there years ago.
We wanted to sit at the picnic tables to eat our ice cream. All the tables were covered in ice cream drippings and in turn surrounded by bees and wasps. My children were afraid. I had to use my own baby wipes to clear a spot. It was clear the tables had not been wiped for a while. Then of course the garbage cans were over flowing with trash and surrounded by bees and wasps as well.
I would recommend retraining employees on how to make proper cones, not serving over flowing items through the drive thru to make a mess in the customers car, and keeping the outside area cleaned up. Maybe invest in bee and wasp traps. I’m very disappointed in what this place has turned into. I quickly realized why The Goody Shop was not packed with customers on a beautiful Saturday evening perfect for an ice with the family.

They have some items that other creamy whips don't have. The service there is always good. Prices are good. There are lots of picnic tables in a grassy area, and people bring dogs. Also, 4 tables are under cover. Has drive-thru and takes credit/debit csrds.

Heard it had been around for many years. Decided to give it a try on Wednesday evening while visiting family. Stopped in around 6pm. Young man took our order. The pretzel was sadly Horrible. It was some sort of wheat mix from the tan dough color inside. The young man microwaved it so long as it cooled it turned into a brick. No teeth broken. Sundea turtle was good though. I was not impressed sadly.

Asked for a medium cup of the blue ice cream and was given a bowl. I went back to request my order be remade like I had asked and they just dumped the melted ice cream into a cup. When I mentioned that it was too melted for me to take home to my pregnant gf, they rang me up for a 2nd order of ice cream. I feel like it should've just been remade, but what do I know about food service.I don't come here often, but my gf does so I didn't know what container it should've come in. I didn't realize it was wrong until I sent my gf a picture and she informed me.
I had the brownie sundae with peanut butter sauce, which was extra. It also came with hot fudge sauce. It was the best I've ever had!! If you haven't been to The Goody Shop, you need to go!!

my grand son was handed ice cream cone out the window a soft cone with cherry coating it was running dripping on him right from the window we have got here hundred times I've never seen such a mess I should have not taken it the girl was a blk girl an just laughed I hate this place u have horrible help an hateful an cant make any thing correctly bad service 2 times in 2 weeks we off to Dairy queen dripping ice cream out the window ur nuts.

Hello , the raise in price for a med ice cream cone jump a Dollar that is a big jump in one season i a my grand children have come there for years but not again for along time prices to high became you’ll run yourself out business I can buy half gallon ice cream for what u charge for one med size cone. Maybe ur related to joe Biden any case sad day for young family trying have a little treat for their kids
