This is a classic, cozy place to listen to the many fantastic jazz musicians from Cincinnati and beyond. The décor looks decades-old, probably nothing spent on the place in ages, but that's part of what makes it so comfortable. I felt like suddenly I'm in a little club in NYC or Chicago when I came in. The neighborhood is dicey but I parked on nearby Curtis Street, which is a short walk around the corner.
Certainly one of the best places in town for music. We stumbled in late, but enjoyed excellent service. Brazilia, Phil DeGreg and his group with an especially talented percussionist sitting in with them this evening... and every evening at The Greenwich is likely to be special. Don't miss it if you are a local and haven't been there, or if you are visiting Cincinnati and looking for the finest in musical entertainment...
The Band "Press Play" never fails to entertain. They play a mix of Old school and 90's-00's R&B. They throw in some modern Funk jams and will keep the people dancing. Sometimes there is a light snack in the performance room. Some of the drink prep needs work.
