The Honey Baked Ham Company

HBH charged me more money than what I expected when purchased online. Reason is what I purchased wasn’t available so they sized up without my knowledge. Spoke to a manager for a refund and she was very rude and said there is a disclaimer on their site. Well this is the first time experiencing this and I order online all the time. $ 70 for a quarter ham is crazy. Will never order from Kenwood location again due to their unprofessional attitudes.

Today I was at your store in Kenwood on Montgomery rd to pick up my ham the line was very long which wasn't the problem I know it's Thanksgiving and going to be crowded I'm waiting patiently in the walk in reservation line I'm waiting on the next cashier and in walks this Caucasian women I'm black by the way and the customers were diverse no problem but in walks this woman ignored the lines without a wait rushes to the counter and the black young cashier just starts helping her like none of us was waiting so I walked over told the cashier that she broke she has to wait like everyone else the cashier says it don't matter she paid online I said well the line for prepaid is over in the other line either way she broke infront of the other prepaid customers so she broke in front of us all the cashier still waited on the lady without hesitation then the lady still got her items with no wait then the cashier was given attitude with me saying it dont matter I put to ham bones on the counter she hasnt apoligized or even spoke to me totaled up my 2 ham bones like thats all I stood in that long for she never asked me is there anything else I would like she was horrible I wish I had her name but im gonna check the receipt cause she evadently dont undestand what happed I dont know if you want your customers to feel like one customers money is better than the next but i still purchased the ham she was not friendly anither nice women came to the register to help her cause she was standing there with a blank face never said a word except for it dont matter that the lady broke check your cameras around 430 pm 11/26/24 im going to my receipt later and add her name to this post tomorow
And I haven't haven't haven't tasted the ham yet just wanted yall to know how I was treated the other ladies was there if you need proof

You can never go wrong with HBH. No matter Kenwood, OH, or HBH in Baton Rouge, LA on Florida it's always pleasant! I did take 1 star but its only directed toward corporate not this individual location. I believe they should reconsider going back to ppl being able to see what ham they're purchasing vs the latter. I just spent $200 on a Turkey & Ham site unseen. Thats just not okay in such a delicate economy. Make it make sense 🤦‍♀️

Went for Hammonds. Frozen. Excellent. Thought expensive, but really not because of the amount of meat still on bones. Worth it. Made excellent soup and sandwiches

It should be ready if I order a sandwich for pickup at a scheduled time. I arrived 15 minutes after the pickup time, and the sandwich had not yet been made. Were you just going to steal my money if I never showed up? I paid for a product to be ready at a time that was convenient for me. Now I’m waiting 15 minutes. Time is money; don’t waste mine.

I arrived at the store at 6:05 p.m. on Thursday 4/11/24. I walked in the store and the first the représentative said to me was "Are you going to be paying with cash or card?" My response was I dont know, why? She responded that she had ready shut down the register so any futher transactions would need to be paid for in cash.Then I told her I wanted a half dozen slices of ham. Her response was, "We dont sell by the slice."I told her that I know for sure that was not true becauseI have bought freshly sliced ham from this location on many occasions. I have bought ham sandwiches from this location which of course are made with slices as requested.It did not take me long to figure out that this representative did not want to serve me because she had already cleaned the meat slicer and closed the register. So, if the transaction I came to do could not be accomodated with a closed register and prepackaged meat, then, she was not going to help me. That transactio l as well as future. transactions walked out of the store.How many other sells have walked out of your store because of this kind on interaction.Why is the store open until 6:30 if you are not going to serve the customers what they came to get.You are loosing business and getting a bad réputation for poor customer service because the people you have hired to serve your customers are more concerned about leaving the store at 6:30 than they are providing service to your customers.

Worst HB Ham I have ever had. So much fat, bad meat and bone I was barely able to feed a family of four dinner. Employees were all in the back room chatting while 5 customers were out front waiting to be served. Last time going here.

Who doesn't love a glazed honey baked ham? Ah, but don't sleep on the roasted turkey, which is also glazed. And, they've recently added ready made ham and cheddar cheese on southern-style buttermilk biscuits. Great for a quick snack. Just heat and eat!

I purchased a spiral ham and a turkey breast as well as the cinnamon apples.Everything was really good.The service was great, and the atmosphere was nice, very pleasant.Being able to purchase the ham and turkey it saved me a lot of time in the kitchen. All I had to do was cook the sides, and I was so happy because they were great!

Parking: The police/sheriff was out directing where to park because the store was very busy when I on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have, I believe, 3 spaces for handicap and the spaces are wide. They had the police/sheriff directing where to park. Honey Baked Ham Store was very busy and it was raining the day that I went.

The problem I have with the honey baked ham stores is when you don't order online,, you have to purchase the ham they pick for you. For instance at the fields ertel location they brought me a $84.00 dollar ham,, I am one person,, I don't need that much and don't have that much money..So therefore I had to go back to my car and drive all the way back to Kenwood,, they had a $56. Dollar ham.. nothing cheaper...I did make the purchase,, but left thinking I spent more then I wanted. But on a more positive note,, I enjoy eating the delicious ham every holiday ..
