My favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. The vibe, the food, the service all 10/10. Love this place!

Solid steaks and even better service. They don’t rush you out at all and give a great explanation of their menu.

The lighting was so dim we couldn't read our menus, and the decor is very corporate kitch. We ordered the ribeye for two, medium rare. It showed up purple on the inside. The wait staff was very apologetic, however we were brought back the same steak reheated on a new plate, but this time we got a lecture from the cook about what our expectations should be. And it was still undercooked. What a disappointment.

A Culinary Masterpiece in Cincinnati – An Unforgettable Steakhouse Experience

From the moment you step through the doors, you know you’re in for something extraordinary. Greeted with a glass of chilled champagne, the experience at this high-end bespoke steakhouse is nothing short of indulgent. The ambiance is elegant yet inviting, setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable meal.

The menu is a testament to seasonality and craftsmanship of their chef, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients curated into stunning dishes. Steak lovers will revel in the selection, but the Tomahawk Bone-In Steak is a true showstopper—expertly seared, perfectly marbled, and packed with rich, beefy flavor. Elevate the experience with their signature butter mixes—decadent, house-made infusions that take each bite to another level. And if you’re a fan of bold, unctuous flavors, the bone marrow is a must-try.

Not in the mood for steak? No problem. The menu offers a refined selection of fresh seafood and elevated burgers, ensuring that every guest finds their perfect plate. And whatever you do, save room for dessert—the final, sweet note of an impeccable dining journey.

For those who truly appreciate the art of eating, this isn’t just dinner—it’s a celebration of flavor, quality, and hospitality at its finest. Whether you’re marking a special occasion or simply treating yourself to the best, this Cincinnati steakhouse is an experience you won’t soon forget.

If I could give it a zero we would!! Table of 4 ordered the butterboard. $20 not worth it, super tiny portion! We were not asked for our drink order. Corned beef plate for $62 what a joke. Potatoes were charcoal and then the waitress brought us potatoes 10 mins after the corned beef was gone. Also, 1 hr and 20 mins. Come on!!!

I've been looking forward to eating here for more than a year. Upon entering, was greeted with a mid-century vibe and an offer of a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Classy. We were well attended to by friendly wait staff in a small dining space that was intimate but noisy mostly due to the small bar. The Lavender Bees Knees was a delicious and refreshing drink off their creative cocktail menu. Ordered the oysters and bone marrow starters. Like another reviewer noted, the oysters had too much Panko. More notably, the bone marrow was a bit too gelatinous for my taste. For the main, the butcher's cut was ordered medium rare with an onion and mushroom side. While I understand the cut was marbled for flavor, it was simply too fatty to enjoy each bite. Sourced within 200 miles or not, for a restaurant that prides itself on steak, this was most unfortunate. While the side dish was tasty it could have done with a bit less oil. Dessert was creme brulee served with a latte-like coffee. Overall, this restaurant has a great location, ambiance, presentation, staff, and drinks menu. But, for the price ($250 for two) at least on this night, the food itself didn't live up to the reputation Lonely Pine is known for.

Seriously some of the best food I've had in Cincinnati. There's not much more to say than that. This team is worth keeping an eye on, they're making something special.
In particular, it's simple food done exceptionally well. I had the filet, and it was better than anything I've had at other local steakhouses. The mac & cheese was also fantastic - and very straightforward. She's letting the food do the work, and not overpowering everything with too much salt or overseasoning.

This steakhouse absolutely nails their unique vision. A Fantastic chef driven restaurant with an immaculate mid century western vibe.
Don’t miss the $1 martinis and half off oysters on happy hour, wed-fri 5:30-6:30.

This was a disappointing visit. I was looking forward to this restaurant for quite a while but I found the atmosphere to be very casual for the price point. It seems to have turned into the locals watering hole so the romantic atmosphere I had been hoping for was pretty ruined by the very loud people at the bar.
The food was fine but unimpressive, the only dish that seemed to have any aesthetic design to the plating was the NY Strip Steak and that I found to be bland.
The dish I enjoyed the most was the Creme Brulee, and the service was excellent except for some confusion due to the noise

Came here for a special occasion and it didn't disappoint. The food and staff were great.

The food was incredible, the steak was perfectly cooked, decent sized, and one of the most delicious meals I've had in a long time. The drinks were perfect and paired well. And I would have ordered the entire dessert menu if I'd had time.

Overall it was an ok experience. Online pictures were a little misleading as we found a small restaurant with only a handful of tables. As a taller person I wasn't a fan of the tables myself as I found it troubling where to put my feet based on the table legs. We did the spinach n artichoke dip to start which the dip was pretty good and plentiful but the tortilla chips just seemed to be from a bag. We each had steak and both of ours were undercooked from what we requested. The shareable sides left us wanting. The fingerling potatoes were not fully cooked and some were still a hard almost raw potato. The brussel sprouts had a very strong lemon flavor. We ended with the campfire s'mores which was also average as the brownie was cold.

I appreciate the locally sourced and craft feel of the place, but I don't necessarily need flower petals to top all of my dishes, to include the brownie. I will say the wait staff was very nice. Not a bad meal just not overly impressed and probably would not recommend if you were to ask me for steakhouse suggestions.

The food was average at best overall and not worth the price. Though I will say the tres leches cake was very good. For context our reservation was at 8:15 and they close at 10:30. This was a Friday night. In no particular order:
- The drinks were meh. It seemed they tried to get overly creative and they were all over the place flavor wise. The espresso martini did not use espresso.
- They were out of half the menu. No filet, no strip. Had to order a rib eye and it came out half fat. Literally. There was a point in the cut where afterword was all fat.
- The butter that they are supposedly known for came out hard and cold, which wouldn't be a big deal if I hadn't paid $70 for the steak. I was expecting it to be easily spreadable for the price.
- The steak was cooked unevenly and incorrectly. Ordered medium and got medium rare to rare. One half was closer to medium, the other half was cold and raw.
- The side we got (Mac and cheese) was not good. Under seasoned and bland.
- They brought out a dessert menu and were out of half of that too. We were lucky to get tres leches because we heard them tell another table they were out shortly after.
- While the server was very good, I dinged service for being out of so much because I didn't know where else to do it. If the server was bad it would have been one star.

A hidden gem in the many steakhouses in Cincy. Don’t expect a Jeff Ruby atmosphere but they make up in service and food quality! Just wish they had steak options.
