This place is amazing. The food is fantastic we went here for our anniversary and had a great time. It was my first time trying bone marrow and it was really yummy. We ordered the cowboy ribeye as the main course to split and it was cooked to perfection. The fingerling potatoes were also excellent, and the smoked Gouda Mac was a little bit strong for me personally but also very good. My favorite thing had to be the smore dessert which is made to look like a little campfire. I would literally go back just for that. They also offered mocktails for those who don't drink which is awesome. Definitely check out their lavender lemonade. This atmosphere is cozy and very welcoming and all the staff were super pleasant and knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning. Excellent experience.

One of the most intimate, welcoming, and warming steakhouse’s I’ve ever been to. Called ahead to confirm they wouldn’t mind a rambunctious 3 year old and they were more than happy to have her. Food was so good, we came on a HOT day and our waitress suggested the pimento cheese and crackers; cheap, delicious, and cooling. My husband and I shared the tomahawk steak with the finger link potatoes and our daughter got the 4 ounce filet with broccolini, everything was delicious. Can’t wait to come back.

Great food, great vibes. Fantastic kitchy take on a steakhouse with some nice modern interpretation of the food itself.

Exceptional service and incredibly high-quality food for very fair prices. I had a wonderful dinner here and especially enjoyed the bone marrow, cowboy ribeye, and crème brûlée. The service was personable, prompt, and overall enjoyable.

I’ll start with the pros and end with the cons.
Pros:
We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation and while we waited were offered complimentary sparkling wine which was a great touch/first impression. We split the cowboy ribeye for 2, and it was one of the best steaks I have had. The side of fingerling potatoes were also very good. There are several other things we would’ve liked to try that sounded good but it was just my wife and I eating here so we didn’t want to get too much food. Our waitress was kind and attentive. The overall decor inside was pretty nice.
Cons: The Caesar salad we had was a little disappointing and s’mores dessert was average but not amazing. The biggest problem we had was the overall smell. We could not figure out if it was the specific chemical cleaner they used or a certain food item or maybe a combination of the 2? I would recommend caution coming here if you are sensitive to smells.
Overall, I’m glad we tried the place. The service was good and the steak was great! But due to the smell, we will probably not return.

I had the most amazing experience at this restaurant. 10 out of 10 will definitely do again. The staff was perfect! The night I went they were short staffed, and everything still flowed well. My waitress was Emma, she was perfect and did a great job explaining everything to me and making recommendations. When Emma wasn't around other waiter/waitresses came to check on me, best team work I've ever seen! The meat was succulent, and everything was flavored perfectly. I eat like a baby bird so, I had quite a bit of left overs. Chef Maddie I still dream about everything I ate that night. Thank you everyone for such and amazing experience.

My Girlfriend and I had been waiting to try Lonely pine for some time, we both work weird hours so it’s hard to get times to align. Tonight was supposed to be the night. we called ahead to make sure we’d be able to make it in time. We’re told as long as we made it by 9:30 we should be fine, even though it says they close at 10:30 online. We both Rushed in the rain to get there making it just under the 9:30 time only to be told they had already made last call? Seemed the least bit interested in providing service or even an apology. Just a “we’ll catch you next time”. Bad customer service, don’t advertise a closing time and tell me I can come eat by a certain time to not honor either, couldn’t even sit for a drink. First impressions are everything and my first impression is that they don’t care .
Amazing food and very special experience for a birthday dinner! As a vegetarian I left full and had to choose between more options than I could reasonably order - the squash in particular was INCREDIBLE. The other members of my party were floored by the expertly cooked steaks. Chef Madeline and Cato were so thoughtful and kind in making the night truly special. Cant wait to go back and war my way through the delicious sides.

Solid steaks and even better service. They don’t rush you out at all and give a great explanation of their menu.
The lighting was so dim we couldn't read our menus, and the decor is very corporate kitch. We ordered the ribeye for two, medium rare. It showed up purple on the inside. The wait staff was very apologetic, however we were brought back the same steak reheated on a new plate, but this time we got a lecture from the cook about what our expectations should be. And it was still undercooked. What a disappointment.
A Culinary Masterpiece in Cincinnati – An Unforgettable Steakhouse Experience
From the moment you step through the doors, you know you’re in for something extraordinary. Greeted with a glass of chilled champagne, the experience at this high-end bespoke steakhouse is nothing short of indulgent. The ambiance is elegant yet inviting, setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable meal.
The menu is a testament to seasonality and craftsmanship of their chef, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients curated into stunning dishes. Steak lovers will revel in the selection, but the Tomahawk Bone-In Steak is a true showstopper—expertly seared, perfectly marbled, and packed with rich, beefy flavor. Elevate the experience with their signature butter mixes—decadent, house-made infusions that take each bite to another level. And if you’re a fan of bold, unctuous flavors, the bone marrow is a must-try.
Not in the mood for steak? No problem. The menu offers a refined selection of fresh seafood and elevated burgers, ensuring that every guest finds their perfect plate. And whatever you do, save room for dessert—the final, sweet note of an impeccable dining journey.
For those who truly appreciate the art of eating, this isn’t just dinner—it’s a celebration of flavor, quality, and hospitality at its finest. Whether you’re marking a special occasion or simply treating yourself to the best, this Cincinnati steakhouse is an experience you won’t soon forget.
If I could give it a zero we would!! Table of 4 ordered the butterboard. $20 not worth it, super tiny portion! We were not asked for our drink order. Corned beef plate for $62 what a joke. Potatoes were charcoal and then the waitress brought us potatoes 10 mins after the corned beef was gone. Also, 1 hr and 20 mins. Come on!!!
I've been looking forward to eating here for more than a year. Upon entering, was greeted with a mid-century vibe and an offer of a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Classy. We were well attended to by friendly wait staff in a small dining space that was intimate but noisy mostly due to the small bar. The Lavender Bees Knees was a delicious and refreshing drink off their creative cocktail menu. Ordered the oysters and bone marrow starters. Like another reviewer noted, the oysters had too much Panko. More notably, the bone marrow was a bit too gelatinous for my taste. For the main, the butcher's cut was ordered medium rare with an onion and mushroom side. While I understand the cut was marbled for flavor, it was simply too fatty to enjoy each bite. Sourced within 200 miles or not, for a restaurant that prides itself on steak, this was most unfortunate. While the side dish was tasty it could have done with a bit less oil. Dessert was creme brulee served with a latte-like coffee. Overall, this restaurant has a great location, ambiance, presentation, staff, and drinks menu. But, for the price ($250 for two) at least on this night, the food itself didn't live up to the reputation Lonely Pine is known for.
