Listennnnn!!!! This one MANAGER named SHAUNA!!!! At the overlook KITCHEN….. so very professional and kind and considerate!!! Customer service at its FINEST!!!!
I came to the Summit to attend a birthday celebration in their ballroom. Dorothy provided outstanding service without making me feel like I was a burden. I have a hard time chewing, and she happily switched my food for me. It's little acts like this done with a smile that really make nights like this memorable. Thank you!
This restaurant is located on the rooftop of the Summit Hotel. IThe menu was well put together and offered some delicious dishes. I had the crispy chicken with cornbread, which did not disappoint at all. The dinner was a bit slow, but since we were staying in the hotel and didn't have to be anywhere else, it was fine and enjoyable actually because we got to sit outside and enjoy the evening air.
The restaurant isn't open closed. Website is still up, disappointed had to make a last minute reservation somewhere else.
Made reservations and was looking forward to a nice evening. We pulled into where the signage indicated valet parking, but no one was there. When I called the restaurant to ask where to park, I got a recording that they ceased operations! I'm very disappointed.
I made my reservations on October 1, 2018 for December 7,2018. We arrived and they were closed. No one called to tell me. We had out of town guests in and called other restaurants and could not get into anything till 10:15. I could not believe that no one informed me of the closure till January 2019.
An awesome dining experience with my husband in February this year! We celebrated Valentine's Day a little late here, and it was a very nice experience. The chefs are in chef school, they are learning the 5 star serving and we are lucky to have this here in Cincy! The food was delicious and so was the desserts. We had a fabulous time.
Good place to get a bite to eat between classes
This is a new hotel. They have lots of things to work out. It is still under construction. The major issue for this stay was parking. They had a big event where 100s of people attended. Attendees parked in the hotel parking which left nothing for the guest and the hotel basically said park on the street where ever you can find a place.
Good food. Fair service. Incorrect order was served. Required another 20 minute wait or eat what was incorrectjy prepared. Waitress did not check on the table enough. Very long wait between courses. Used plates and utinsiles not removed soon enough.

The free valet was a very nice surprise. The school hallways you walked to get to the Summit were not. That would take the date vibe away immediately. The restaurant was comfortable but plain, no real decor. The service was excellent and the wine and cocktails menus provided excellent choices including an award winning Manhattan and a lovely non-alcoholic citrus drink we really liked. Their service style is formal and unobtrusive. I loved the eclectic music that swung seamlessly from Cia to old standards. Our appetizer choice was coconut shrimp. They were much smaller than usual but OK. My daughter enjoyed her filet mignon and thought it was very good (though covered in a drab brown sauce?) The lamb chops were very disappointing and covered in the same brown sauce! To my pallet everything was under seasoned. The potato almond croquettes should be avoided unless you can't get enough of bland. The service was excellent and the coffee was yummy. Overall they get a ‘meh' from me; just OK. For the same money I could get a delicious meal in an interesting place maybe even with a view. Would only recommend to elderly couples or place for those who want quiet.
Terrible setting , in dire need of some updating. Other College dining has been excellent and reduced costs. This was full price and probably one of the most depressing dinners I have ever had. Would never return.
Enjoyable experience with very good food, There is a viewing window and after watching the chefs work the teens in our party wanted to go to culinary school
We had a group of 9 for my husband's birthday and a great time we had by all . Upscale food and drinks good service and overall good place . Not a super vibrant atmosphere but we made our own .
The service was very good and the food was great, but somehow we managed a $250 check with just 4 adults. It seems a 3-yr old and a baby qualified us as a party of 6 and an automatic 20% gratuity was added. We did have an inexpensive bottle of wine and shared a couple of desserts. Still, seemed a little steep for Cincinnati State dining.
