I had been wanting to try the Presidents room for a very long time, unfortunately they decided to end regular dinner service right whenever I had made in a decision to go in. So I've been watching their events trying to determine when I would want to finally take the plunge. Fortunately they had just the right one coming up in December, the feast of the seven fishes. In Italian tradition that specializes in delicious fresh seafood, and the pasta preparations that can complement it. There's literally not a better fit for me. The ticket price was relatively high, but I can honestly say after having the meal I was very happy with that decision. every dish was well composed, and sized. There was enough that you were happy, but not enough that you had to fight to finish it. They gave you ample time between courses to digest and prepare for the next, with only two moments of extreme lag, such that I was really looking forward to the next bite before it had even arrived. Some of that has to do with the fact that it was a wine dinner, and the sommelier I was discussing the wines between each course. not being a drinker I didn't really care much for the way that he was presenting the information, it was very rambling and overwhelming. Other than that? I wouldn't change a thing. Service was nice, dishes came out mostly at the same time, the communal table set up meant we all interacted while dining, but were able to have our own conversations, and every dish delivered on flavor.

I love this place! They serve great meals, they have a rich menu, The chef in that place is an expert, I enjoy very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are consistently of high qualtity, the service towards the customers is nice. I frequently visit this place and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it to all.

Went with my boyfriend for downtown Cincinnati restaurant week, and I was pretty let down. I got the carbonara, and it was not very flavorful. Seemed to be over peppered to make up for the lack of flavor. The experience and the building/architecture somewhat made up for it. My boyfriend loved their old fashioned and I enjoyed the wine selection. Overall just not worth the money.

This place was my absolute favorite. I recommended them to all my friends because their food and service was amazing! My boyfriend and I went to the Presidents Room for a few special occasions. The atmosphere was relaxed even though they have such elevated dishes. The wait staff was always attentive and knowledgeable.

I ordered the little gem salad, Aukra salmon and budino pudding. My friend tried the gazpacho soup and the panna cotta and also the salmon. This was, not surprisingly, dining at its best. The was not just tasty but presented beautifully. The gazpacho has heirloom tomatoes and strawberries in it and it was over crab salad. She left her plate clean. My salad was also amazing!

This is a late post but I really wanted to post it. I came here during restaurant week with a coworker and felt wined and dined. The restaurant is set in an old building with marble stairs and chandeliers. I had been here before for a work event but I was excited to come for dinner. I got here before my coworker, so I sat at the bar and they put together a mock tail for me. I can't even tell you what was in it other than ginger beer but it was delicious! Once we were seated, we were given an aperitif which surprised me but even better, mine was non-alcoholic because the bartender will let them know that I didn't drink alcohol. How amazing was that!? I ordered the little gem salad, Aukra salmon and budino pudding. My friend tried the gazpacho soup and the panna cotta and also the salmon. This was, not surprisingly, dining at its best. The was not just tasty but presented beautifully. The gazpacho has heirloom tomatoes and strawberries in it and it was over crab salad. She left her plate clean. My salad was also amazing! The dressing was perfectly distributed. What can I say about the salmon and the cauliflower purée? The asparagus and leeks added the perfect consistency to complement the salon, which was blackened but still done well on the inside. Now to the desserts... the chocolate budino was Bill Gates rich but the salted banana cream helped offset the richness. I could eat no more after the banana cream was gone. The Panna Cotta on the other hand was light and creamy, mixed with fresh berries and granola. Our waiter was attentive, keeping our water filled and removing our dishes from each course quickly. I know I could not ordinarily afford this place so I am grateful to have had this experience during Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Week. I will be back when I get a boyfriend that can afford this place.
