Not inviting to certain “KIND” of folk. Strong Prejudice towards anyone who isn’t white pretty much. Been here twice.. both times made me feel as if I was overstaying my “welcome”… service stinks

I’m deeply disappointed and disturbed by the experience I had at The Public House. What should’ve been a casual night out turned into a clear reminder that racism is still very present — even in places that promote themselves as welcoming and community-centered.
From the moment I entered, the energy was tense and unwelcoming. Staff interactions were cold and dismissive, especially in contrast to how other patrons (specifically white patrons) were treated. I observed multiple instances where myself and other Black guests were ignored, side-eyed, or outright avoided, while others were served promptly and spoken to with kindness and respect.
There was no mistaking it — the treatment wasn’t just bad service, it was targeted. Subtle or not, racism is racism.
This behavior is not just unacceptable, it’s dangerous. It perpetuates a culture that tells Black people and people of color that we are not safe or valued in certain spaces. The management needs to be held accountable, not only for the actions of their staff but for fostering an environment that allows this type of behavior to continue.
I share this to warn others, and to call for change. No one should have to question whether their race will determine the quality of their experience.

So I ordered a pizza and asked for no cheese because I’m lactose intolerant and they brought me a pizza that had a lot of cheese on it it was totally fine because they said they could remake it the right way I gave the pizza to my family sitting next to me because they told me to keep it I would’ve sent it right back if I knew they would’ve had a problem since they were able to eat it why would we let it go to waste especially since they told us to keep it but since they seen people at the table eating it they ended up up not making the pizza and not saying anything about it until after they kept us waiting on the pizza for thirty minutes like it was coming there are way better places to enjoy your time around here that won’t act like your trying to get one over on them and actually confront a situation instead being petty and lowkey stupid about something it’s just not worth it

Had dinner with a friend and my Reuben was delicious and he said his burger was great. Server was awesome and just really enjoyed our experience. Had pizza too at my Christmas party in there cozy party room. Pizza .. absolutely delicious!. Give this place a try folks!

First time ever going as I was told I should try the place out. From the beginning to the end it was a nightmare. Food was mediocre thank god because the service was horrific, no refills, waited to be greeted for twenty minutes after being told “I’m sorry I’m talking to much and slacking” switched servers and given literally 20 menus with a party of 3? Weird. Servers were all over the place, waited to get the food for we. The back of the house was better at serving food than the front. Went to speak with a manager about how terrible service was and there was no manager available they were all on vacation with their children and no one could help. I will never be back and never recommend this place to anyone. Forgot to mention the drunks at the bar cussing so loudly. Just completely turned off. Worse $90 ever spent.

I have been looking forward to going here since seeing it on bar rescue. I went there today for my birthday. 88.00 dollar bill and the food was awful. I asked for no tomatoes on my grilled cheese had tomatoes. Told them and it came back out in 5 mins they just took the tomatoes off so now my frys where cold. Took forever to get my check I had to ask for it. Very disappointed won't eat there again.

Service and atmosphere were wonderful. Unfortunately, the spring rolls didn't have much corned beef and was lacking any flavor. We had 2 other dishes we weren't impressed with either as a group of 4.

I had lunch here Friday with my adult daughter. The place was not busy. The service was good. The food was delicious. I had a burger and daughter had ham & cheese sandwich. The prices were reasonable. It was quite enjoyable.

Absolutely horrible, just finished throwing up in the public house bathroom. Food took almost an hour and a half to get, then the fries arrived soggy and undercooked. People are literally standing outside warning others not to come in, due to wait time and horrible food prep. Please don't make the same mistake we did. The only positive thing I have to say is that our server was great and understood the frustrations we had. It was not her fault, I hope she finds a better place of employment. Had to stumble outside to throw up in the parking lot because I didn't want to kneel down on the super sticky urine caked bathroom floor. Worst restaurant experience I've ever had in my life.
