I’m not a wine person but my wife wanted to try a wine bar and we decided to come to Skeleton Root. When talking to the staff I informed them of my lack of wine knowledge. They were very helpful and professional. They recommended a couple of different wines which we tried and to my astonishment, I enjoyed a couple of their wines. The atmosphere was rustic and laid back which I loved. It was a lovely experience and I would like to thank the staff for their suggestions and their help.

We had my mom’s 80th birthday dinner and it was simply amazing! Kate was a tremendous host and helped me consider all the details to make the event very special. We had happy hour and charcuterie in the front room and then dinner in the barrel room. What a beautiful and unique setting! All 31 of us were at one, long table and it was just gorgeous. The drinks- especially the WINE - and food were outstanding. We had a GREAT time. I highly recommend Kate and the Skeleton Root winery for your special events and business/corp team events.

Located on a quiet street, The Skeleton Root is an awesome urban winery. We paid $15 for a tasting of 3 locally made red wines. Jay, our sommelier, also gave us a neat tour of the property. The decor and ambiance were excellent.
