Upside brew is more than a coffee shop. It’s an open and welcoming community. I spend time there every weekend both working and hanging out with regulars. Sophia, Sid and Marissa, Cat and Kate are some of the best baristas in upside brew!

man, I love this place, but the vibes were so beyond off today. The country playlist was never ending and so loud I couldn't think. neither of the baristas really said hi to me (which they normally do? and I thought was really weird.) one was on her phone with her back to the register (I believe she was blonde and taller) and the shorter one looked at me like I was an inconvenience. Coffee was good as always, but if the vibe stays like this I'm not really sure I wanna come back.

Fast service, fastest in Cincinnati. Service staff gets it! Alivia-unbelivably smart chef, Kat-brilliant on espresso machine, Kate, so efficient. Marisa knows everything about coffee culture. Hope management realizes how lucky to have talent. And they are always cleaning/polishing. Lydia is quick in the mornings! This neighborhood is lucky.

The girls are amazing. They are so sweet and sunshiny. I’ve been in about a dozen times over a month. Their flatbreads are amazing and their seasonals are awesome. They change their seasonals about every 3 months so always something new to try! I got a peppermint mocha last time and it was so good! They make a few house made sauces which is so awesome! They also make their own homemade alt milks! Kayla and Cat are hard working and deserving. Lyd and Cat have done such a good job running the place and it wouldn’t be where it is now without them

I want to like this place. It's got an awesome location, and every time I've been the cappuccino has been amazing. I've been here three times now and have been really disappointed with the FOH service. Not the employee making the drinks, but it always seems to be the person behind the actual register. Whether it's just being plain rude, "too busy", or talking trash about customers loudly enough to be overheard - please take this into account when hiring and training the employees. The coffee is great, the bakery items are delicious, the location itself is really nice.
