I love this place! The vibes are so much fun. One of my favorite places. I suggest booking a private room weeks in advance, though.

We had a fun time celebrating my sister-in-law’s birthday. The bar itself is a vibe but the drinks we ordered never came from the ceiling as expected in the room we booked. The music was really not great at times too. For some songs the lyrics were missing/incomplete, for others the lyrics were highly modified from the original version. The bar is 21+ only so the lyrics being bleeped or edited was absurd and made it very difficult to follow the song at times. You had to really know the songs well without having the words on the screen to guide you which misses the entire point of karaoke. We enjoyed our time in spite of these things but expect improvements before we would visit again.

Outstanding human beings who work at this establishment - I had just tripped and fell crossing the street about a block away and my hand was bleeding horribly. I walked in here looking for a bandage and these guys took amazing care of me. Will absolutely be returning someday soon to show my gratitude! Thank you guys again.

Reserved a room for six for two hours. Drinks are reasonably priced, well-crafted, and pretty tasty. Employees were also pretty nice and helpful.

But the actual experience felt bare and poorly-executed. Cheap. The rooms are very minimalist in design, are not soundproofed (can hear other rooms singing, not to mention the main club room), and the karaoke tech is TERRIBLE: The music defaults to weird keys, is randomly out-of-sync with on-screen lyrics, and the song library is so minimal (do not go to the Japan-themed karaoke bar and expect to karaoke any Japanese songs or anime titles).

Add to that the removal of past elements like drinks being lowered through the ceiling and robot deliveries, plus a mandatory gratuity added to your room reservation fee (not just your drinks, which itself is sensible), and I can’t help but feel Tokyo Kitty has gone out of their way to cheapen an experience (not the cost) that will eventually run out of one-time customers.

The black man with the burnt face accused us of bringing outside alcohol and kicked us out the private room when we didn’t bring anything in. Just sad and inconvenient.

Tokyo Kitty is a colorful, fun, clean environment with a cool mirror room to take photos in before you even get inside. Here Comes the Sun is a great NA option and the Strawberry Sling for a cocktail option. Kam and Kelsey provided exemplary service. Cool place to bring people out of their shells.

Cincinnati's coolest Karaoke bar

My fiancée and I were genuinely excited to visit this establishment. She had done some research and was delighted to learn that the bar was themed around Tokyo (of course), with specific nods to Lost in Translation. In the spirit of the theme, my fiancée thoughtfully wore a pink wig, similar to the one worn by Scarlett Johansson’s character in the movie.
We were there for about two hours, but unfortunately, what started as an exciting evening quickly turned uncomfortable. My fiancée began to feel uneasy, as she noticed multiple staff members staring at her in a hostile, suspicious way. We later discovered that the bar is decorated with similar pink wigs placed on mannequin heads- and, shockingly, the staff had assumed she had stolen one.
Rather than approaching her with any courtesy or even just asking about the wig, they chose to talk about her openly and negatively, all while continuing to glare. Thankfully, my fiancée overheard some of the accusations and rude comments and was able to clarify the situation with the owner, showing the digital receipt for the wig on her phone as proof that it was her own.
Unfortunately, instead of receiving a sincere apology, she was met with a dismissive response and was essentially brushed off by the manager. We felt so uncomfortable and disrespected that we decided to leave early and we have not returned since.
I found it odd that after looking around the bar, we realized that every single mannequin head within the space had a pink wig on it. None of them were missing, so I am genuinely confused as to why they simply assumed that she stole it.
What an odd and disappointing way to treat someone who was so excited to visit your venue that she took the time and effort to dress in theme. A bit of kindness and communication would have gone a long way... instead, the night left us feeling judged, embarrassed, and very unwelcome.

The bartender (black man) was unbelievably kind and made the entire experience enjoyable. Karaoke is not for me, but I will go back just because of the stellar service.

I absolutely LOVE TK ❤️. Point blank period 🤗. Wether ur doing main bar karaoke or private room karaoke, the staff and atmosphere are just awesome! Perfect place for parties too. I drive for Uber and always suggest this place to folks visiting our city for conferences and such. Go play there! That's an order 🤸🏾‍♀️.

We came in on Saturday 8/23 for a birthday and got a private room. I didn’t catch her name but the girl who helped us was so great and then Church was so great. He took great care of us and was overall just super fun to talk to. I loved the staff they made us feel so welcomed and made sure we had a great time. I will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends! Drinks were delicious, speedy, and reasonably priced for the in-house high quality.

The waitresses here seem to be on a real power trip. Instead of making customers feel welcome, they come across as rude and dismissive. It felt like they were more interested in asserting authority than providing good service. Definitely not the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to come back.

They must have no A/C or it's broken or something. Get ready to sweat.
