Solid place for lunch and sooooooo many options! I love that there was a variety of asian cuisines to choose from. Everything was hot and tasted super fresh! The Pad Thai was one of the best I've had!

1st timers! And we will most definitely be back!! We tried multiple dishes and they all were fantastic! Our only negative was the Peking duck, we expected the nice crispy skin and it was more like roasted duck. But all in all a wonderful experience.

Yesterday August 11th, 2025, I had possibly the BEST Dim Sum meal in my adult life. I was introduced to Dim Sum in San Francisco where I lived for 28 years. When I moved to Cincinnati in 2012, I mentioned to a dear friend who WAS my Dim Sum officionado in San Francisco that I missed it and he looked up online the menu and reviews for Uncle Yip's. I've been here several times but always used various dipping sauces. Yesterday I used none. The Dim Sum was utterly FANTASTIC! Nothing else required at ALL! I shared this story to the owner and was moved to tears as my friend in SF had passed away, and I was eating here to enjoy his recommendation. I can't imagine now having Dim Sum anywhere else. Thank you Uncle Yip's for such good food and conversation yesterday.

Food was alright, crab rangoons were the best and beef chow fun was good but could be more flavorful. ordered online and requested utensils which i didn’t receive :(
Really quite mediocre. Salt and pepper ribs were stale - the oil used to fry them had gone rancid. To their credit, they gave us a refund for that dish. Meicai kourou also tasted funky - the meicai was sour. Everything was very salty - no doubt copious amounts of MSG.
Servers were friendly, so nothing against them.

One waiter kept forgetting items. Main dishes were outstanding the dim sum was hit or miss half excellent half would not get again. I think I will come back during dim sum happy hour to see food before ordering.

I’ve been coming to Uncle Yip’s for over 10 years, but was recently charged a random “custom item service fee” for the first time without any explanation. It felt unfair and out of the blue. Disappointed by the lack of transparency from a place I’ve trusted for so long.
