It was the first time at this restaurant, but it will not be our last. There were so many wonderful choices on the menu, it was difficult to decide. Our group of four diners each chose something different, and all were delicious with great depth of flavor. Make sure to save room for their unique version of tiramisu.
Sever was assigned to many tables. Salads can out before apps. Salads sat by table while we ate apps. They were soggy when we got to them. Food was cold. Reservation was at 6:45 and dinner took almost 3 hours.
I enjoy dining at Via Vite. The food is consistently delicious. On my most recent visit, I sat upstairs and found it very comfortable. During my previous visit, I sat downstairs, which was also quiet and pleasant. We will definitely be back for a lovely dinner!
We've always enjoyed dining at Via Vite before we go to the Aronoff. We were served by Abi yesterday evening. She was very personable and attentive to making our dining experience wonderful. As always, the food was delicious. Via Vite is a downtown gem.
Ceasar salad had large shavings of Parmesan cheese with fresh cracked pepper. The lamb fell off the bone & melted in your mouth; absolutely divine!
Priscilla was a great server! The food was good, but portions could have been bigger. 2nd floor got cold when heaters shut off
Server was really good. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Drinks were ok, food was ok. Short rib was ok, too many onions in the pasta. We just high expectations and we're a little disappointed.
Enjoyed sitting on the terrace overlooking Fountain Square where the Christmas tree was just erected and lots of pre-holiday activity. The service and food was excellent as always. It was a wonderful birthday celebration dinner!
I'm embarrassed to say, I consider myself somewhat on the "up and up" with the Cincy food scene. Yet I have somehow been completely oblivious to the "new and improved" Via Vite, housed by the Italian chef Cristian Pietoso (son of the founder of Nicola's) ... BLEW MY MIND!!!!!! Totally AMAZING!!!!!!! Don't sleeeeep on it ... like me ... STEP IN ... And Let Your Mind and Food Soul be Blown!!!!!
It was our first time dining at Via Vite and will be returning! The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. Highly recommend!

Via Vite always delivers - from the moment you walk in the door until it is sadly time to go. The service and food are top notch and sitting looking at Fountain Square with all of the holiday lights was a special treat!
What a wonderful experience my 12 year old grandson and I had last night (a Saturday night no less) at the chef's table at Via Vite. Excellent service with good advice from our server Kelly. The chef de cuisine stopped by to welcome us. We were treated with respect throughout the meal. Don't miss the focaccia or the chocolate creme brûlée. And the chef's table is quite the experience! My grandson really likes fine dining restaurants, and he has decided this was the best. Thank you so much. (And the price was great!)
Im very tired of lack of lactose, dairy-free options and this restaurant was no exception. Almost 30% of Americans have some lactose intolerance. My pasta sauce option-red only since all are normally drowned in butter and cream. One side and 1 dessert that I could order...Ugh. I was told the sides are all made ahead. I expect more. I do great things at home with plant butter and non dairy creams.
Sent the wrong wine. Ordered cauliflower but never arrived. I $35 gnocchi and had to specify how to make a non dairy sauce. Geez.

The food was excellent. I had the braised lamb shank, always great, and my better half had the cavatelli porcini. The pasta was cooked perfect al dente. Our only issue, we believe, was that our salads were forgotten or not entered and we had to remind our server as we were on a schedule to see a show.
Great experience! The staff and chef was very nice and informative. The food and drinks were 10/10. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and go back again!
