I have attended many of a great dining experience here prior to going to other events that evening. The atmosphere is always great and wait is never long.

It's been a while since I've been here but they do have a great goetta hash and a great goetta pizza. I love goetta. Nice view overlooking the square. Great beer selection and great service. It's one to keep returning.

After a few disappointing visits to "best holiday brunch" spots we decided to check out someplace under the radar - our radar at least. I am a sucker for Italian food and Via Vite was having an Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet. Seems like a no brainer to me. We placed our reservations on Open Table and were charged a 50% hold fee for the reservation. With so many people no-showing on reservations these days, this makes sense to me. We arrived just before our time and were quickly shown to our table. The server was prompt and before you know it, we were heading for food. The buffet was not large, but if the items were good, there's no need for volume. Quality over quantity every day. The food was exceptional for holiday meal. The pasta and gnocchi dishes were fresh and tasty. The breakfast dishes were excellent. Fresh scrambled eggs, not powdered eggs. The French toast was made with Italian bread with added an unexpected and pleasant twist to the classic breakfast item. The bacon was butcher cut and perfectly chewy - at least perfect for me. I know some people like it crunchy. There was also roasted strip steak, carved on demand, and perfect little desert cups. The menu said salmon, but I did see it, maybe I missed it. It doesn't matter, I was highly satisfied. We will return. My only real complaint has ZERO to do with the restaurant, the parking at Fountain Square was $9, flat rate. NINE DOLLARS for 90 minutes. I thought the purpose of 3CDC was to support businesses within the CBD and OTR. Over priced parking will deter people from coming downtown for something less formal. If you want to grab lunch say at CityBird, the parking will cost you more than a sandwich. Nonsense.

Shh, don't tell anyone this is the best Easter and Mother's Day brunch spot in the city. The service was outstanding and they hand-rolled and stuffed their pasta for the buffet. The scenery was beautiful with freshly planted flowers and of course the fountain. It was the perfect morning at the perfect restaurant.Parking: Fountain Square paid parking garage.

Was asked "sparkling or still" for water. Asked for still. Was unexpectedly charged $20 for water in glass bottles but when we looked around the room people were served tap. Why weren't we made aware of that as an option?? I was very happy with my Vodka pasta and Bruschetta. Boyfriends gnocchi came out cold and had a very unappetizing sauce flavor, do not recommend. Table was very small and could barely fit two menus on it. Otherwise I enjoyed the ambiance. Overall had a hit/miss dining experience, being charged so much extra for water without letting us know was probably the worst part.

The bolognese is the best dish ever. I’ve tried plenty of bolognese dishes and this is by far the best.

Our family continues to love Via Vite - We frequent Via Vite (or Forno) for date nights when we're able to do so, but we will be forever appreciative as we held our wedding meal here almost 10 years ago.Thank you to the wonderful servers, chef, staff, and Cristian Pietoso for continuing to hold his food, service, and atmosphere to the highest quality.

Some of the best Italian food I've had in ages! Everything was outstanding. Service was a bit slow, but other than that it was an amazing dinner.

This was our first time dining at Vis Vita and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere, service, wait staff and management was top notch and was very attentive to our needs. From the bar drinks, salads, entrees, sides and dessert everything was perfect and delicious. My wife and I cannot wait to return to Via Vita and have also put on our “dining to do list” their other restaurants located in Cincinnati. I’m sure they are just as wonderful. Thanks to our waitress, Natalie and manager, Justin for making it a truly memorable evening.Dietary restrictions: GFParking: Fountain Square underground parking is located directly under Via Vita. Take the garage elevator to the Fountain Plaza level and your at Via Vitas entrance.

A very enjoyable dining experience at VV as has been the norm. The food was excellent as was the service, all within a pleasant upscale white-table cloth atmosphere. The only minor disappointment in the evening was our two Sgroppinos. I have ordered them for about 20 years at Nicola's and VV, and they may have changed the recipe - reducing the amount of grapefruit sorbet, creating a more alcoholic, more "watery" drink rather than a delightful unique slush like dessert. Or may just have been a one-off error. I will order one again to see.

Via Vite is outstanding for its food and thoughtful service. The menu is strong, and those unfamiliar with it should try the house made pastas. The Bolognese with tagliatelle gives a fine sense of the full flavors here. Savor the slow-cooked sauce and the perfect texture of the fresh pasta. Wines are selected with impeccable taste. The Ripasso is particularly good, yet it is difficult to choose from the veritable tour of Italy in the wine list. For dessert, the choices vary. I recommend the lemon tart with some espresso, but others may have their own ideas. Servers are knowledgeable, and staff like Kelly are essential to the dining experience. Via Vite is a wonderful part of Cincinnati and those unfamiliar may enjoy exploring this stellar restaurant.

The service was great, and the wine was very good. We started with an artichoke app and a carpaccio. The artichokes were bland the garlic parsley just sat at the bottom of the bowl and didn't do much for the dish. Our prosciutto was like a freeze dried stick and also didn't incorporate very well. The carpaccio was ok, good flavor. Our mains which we shared the carbonara was delicious and the pasta was cooked to perfection. Last the chocolate creme brulee was nothing like creme brulee. It taste like fudge . It's thick, over baked, and might as well been a bowl of Hershey chocolate sauce. Creme brulee should be light , cool, silky and have hints of vanilla sugar, and if you want chocolate then throw some in, but don't let it turn in to a torte or a bowl of jello pudding and call it creme brulee.Maybe it was an off night in the kitchen or maybe the baker over did the creme brulee that week. Overall it was just ok.

Italian restaurant located on Fountain Square. The Lasagna is only served on Friday and was absolutely delicious. We sampled all the sides and with the exception of the brussel sprouts, they were not very good. Broccolini was hard to chew. The eggplant parmagiana and the tagliatelle bolognase were good as was the lobster tortellini. Skip the sourdough bread, it's pretty dry. The bread pudding and Gelato were very good. Overall would recommend.
