I’ve been here many times for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and happy hour, since I live in the neighborhood. The food is pretty good, but nothing too special. The service is typically friendly, but sometimes a little slow.
My main issue is that it feels like they keep throwing things at the wall to see what will stick. The temporary Paloma’s merger was confusing, especially considering that food was better than most of their usual menu. And now even more so that the sign is still out there but the “Mexican” food is no longer on the menu.
Lately it feels like they’re trying to be upscale with more fish and pasta options, but it’s a little lackluster. I got the creamy Cajun pasta most recently. It was fine, but a little too greasy and basically tasted like they dumped a packet of taco seasoning in an Alfredo. I wonder if the ingredients are holdovers from the Paloma’s stint.
I think if they just stuck to good, mid-priced sandwiches and other traditional bistro fare, they’d do much better. Instead, they keep messing with their concept and it makes it impossible to know what to expect when I go there. Some of the decisions they’ve made have me kind of glad that their other restaurant plans for the neighborhood haven’t taken off, since it doesn’t feel like they’re confident in their ability to execute on a concept.

Cute little place right on the corner. Great decor and atmosphere but the food itself was very lacking in flavor, especially for the price. Not only that but the mugs had old lipstick on them and after we used most of our cream in our creamer pot, we discovered old good stuck to the side inside of it. Not worth a second trip.

Atmosphere was great, but everything else fell flat. We got the fish and chips, and while the fries were fine the fish had zero seasoning and just simply tasted like grease. The waitress, tho friendly, was also pretty terrible. The restaurant was not busy yet she failed to refill drinks, bring the appetizer (which she forgot about), and bring the check in a timely manner.

The best thing I had was chicken nachos and strawberry cheesecake drink
The worst thing was the shrimp & fish tacos, neither was seasoned. The rest of my party wasn't pleased with their food either. The salmon bowl had no seasoning either, and the pineapple where just pineapple nibbles and not a pineapple salsa as you would think. The salmon and rice was bland.
Our server was great and she did all she could to make our experience great. And they do not serve dessert. Overall the food was horrible. But looking at other people food, it looks like their fish and chips may be good. And I heard they breakfast is good. I will not go back for dinner but I might go try their breakfast and that's a slim might.

We dined here with four others.. Three women got the Blackened Salmon Mojo Bowl. Do not recommend. It was absolutely about the blandest thing I've ever had in a restaurant. The men did seem to enjoy their food. My major complaint was the temperature of the place. It was absolutely freezing. We couldn't take off our coats. I was wearing a heavy wool sweater and a down filled coat and was still cold!!!
Dietary restrictions: Great gluten-free options.

Our table sat down and the waitress never came back to take our order. Our table has been full for 30 minutes and we have even asked to place an order but she has served other tables and cleaned other tables but is refusing to take our order. We ended up leaving. I have been a long term customer for this group via Ivory House so this was a very disappointing experience.

Nice little bistro / bar / restaurant in Westwood. Portions are large enough to easily fill. We went with the fish and chips, along with the hot honey chicken. With chips and queso as an app. The queso was good enough to order again. Fish was huge with a pile of fries under it. Hot chicken had a little zest but nothing over powering. The dining rooms are a bit small so if there's a noisy crowd, or a table full of tipsy moms, you'll hear everything. .
Don't skip the little ice cream shop attached serving up boozie and non boozie desserts.

Went for brunch today. Took a long time to see a waitress. Ordered drinks and then she disappeared. Finally, 30 minutes after sitting down, we were able to place our order. Was never offered a refill on coffee. Food took a long time and then when it was finally delivered, it took over 5 minutes for all of us to get our food. We told the food runner that we didn't have utensils. Took a long time before we got those utensils and we're finally able to start eating after we got up and asked someone else for utensils.
Food was ok, but nothing special. Goetta was pretty good, but portion was very small. Scrambled eggs were pretty tough and dry.
Can't recommend for brunch.

Took my 83 year old mom. Place was super cold. Servers sitting around bar talking and laughing. The room we were taken to was FILTHY. The floor was disgusting, the tables and chairs unwiped, no silverware on the tables. Each group of people brought in had to ask for silverware. My mom loves goetta but it came as a 2 x 2 tiny square. She was very disappointed. We are not going to return. How do these places stay in business with such poor management?
I’ve been to this restaurant many times- very good food but the service tonight was non-existent. Sat in the front room, NO service - employees were there but they ignored customers. Moved to a table in the middle, still no service. Watched servers walk past or scroll on their phones. We decided to leave. I told the bartender we were disappointed in the lack of service- she said “ok”.
The end. Bye.

Freezing cold, understaffed and expensive. The food was pretty good, but it took a long time to come out and the servers were extremely overwhelmed (not their fault). $21 for chicken tenders and fries is quite a lot… and it’s hard to enjoy when it’s hypothermia temperatures indoors.

I threw a birthday dinner for my mom and it was terrible! The menu i basic and the food was even worse. A step up from a greasy dinner, but much more costly. On top of that 6 out of the 11 people that came , ended up with a terrible summer cold the next day. Never again!!!
