I’m only giving three stars for the waitress who took my order. She was perfect. I ordered grits expecting the famous WH thick buttery grits and I got water grits that weren’t cooked. My toast was back to regular bread because it was put inside our hot food and the steam made it soggy. I really wanted my grits so I cooked them on the stove when I got home. I shouldn’t have to cook my food from a place I paid to cook my food.
Stumbled across Waffle House and walked inside. Keyz welcomed us and treated us better than any server in the city -past two tears at least. And Mike was the best cook! Everything was perfect.
Waiting for far too long to be seated without any communication from the staff. No eye contact, no acknowledgement that I will be seated. Then I watch people who arrive after me jump in line and take seats and occupy dirty tables. The staff has no control over the diner. Staff made it right by taking off 10%.
