Watt Street Tavern offers a lively dining experience with a mix of casual pub and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant is known for its friendly service, with staff like Amy providing fabulous service. The decor and music contribute to a great vibe, and the pizza has received many positive reviews for being amazing—loaded with cheese and baked to perfection, with a crust that is perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The food menu includes dishes like smothered chicken, which has been enjoyed by many guests, and the chef's special dishes such as fried potatoes and Mush are also well-liked. The back party room is a popular spot for celebrations, offering a warm and inviting space with plenty of room for everyone. Visitors have praised the personable nature of the owners. While the overall atmosphere is appreciated, some customers have noted that live music outside can be very loud, and there have been occasional issues with staff availability at the bar, leading to moments of waiting. The restaurant's homemade dishes such as fried potatoes and Mush are generally appreciated, though some dishes like chicken and waffles or ribeye steak have received mixed reviews. Guests also enjoy the cashew chicken, which is full of flavor and cooked just right. Despite minor concerns, Watt Street Tavern remains a favorite for its welcoming environment and good food.
