This is a classic diner. We can only review basic egg, bacon, hash browns. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The bacon was freshly cooked and delicious. The hash browns were nicely seasoned, but not as crunchy as I like. You get a lot for your money. The lunch menu looks good.
We used to go to Irv's all the time when I lived in the neighborhood and later when our kids were young but I haven't been there in years. Our son, now 35 was in from L.A. a few weeks ago and we went back. Gotta tell you it was the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Staff was great, food was great and the price was still great! Our son says you cant find a diner like this in L.A. that wouldn't charge 3x as much for the same meal. I highly recommend you...
