Absolutely LOVE the food here. I’ve had lunch here several times in the past year and half and I’m never disappointed. Might need a nap at times but never disappointed lol. Sweet potato fries, salmon and the chicken Philly wrap are my go to options. I still need to try the breakfast! We appreciate your hard work, John! Also love Shirley! She’s always so sweet when I call in to order!
My coworker and I ordered Signature Philly sandwiches. There was plenty of meat on the sandwiches and the presentation was picture perfect. Kudos to the staff. A breath of fresh air supporting our community restaraunts.

Honest Review. Ordered at exactly 1:53pm. The lady at the counter stated the food would be done in 25 minutes. I was prepared to wait at least 45 minutes. Food was ready an hour later.Service was a 3/5 simply because of the wait and no update while waiting.Food 3/5 as the Mac and Cheese was as described from other customers. It was hard and not tasty at all.Parking was a bit tricky.The Upside: Catfish was fresh, perfectly seasoned and well cooked. Obviously the hush puppies aren’t homemade but they were hot and fresh. The restaurant had a nice intimate atmosphere for dining in. Unfortunately I did not use the restroom because that’s a huge factor when rating restaurants.Overall, I would definitely return for another meal. From a brother to another brother. Look into your Mac and Cheese recipe. That’s one side dish we take seriously. Much love and respect.

Not impressed. A friend recommended John Johns. I ordered a catfish dinner with greens and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was hard as a rock. It looked like it was cooked last week. The fish was decent but a little too salty. The greens were fair. But with the mac and cheese being so hard I had to give it a low score. Do better with your side dishes.

If we could give 0 stars we would!!First time guest and will be our last.The place itself looks like the trap spot. My husband ordered perch dinner..... the fish was very tart like it was old and should not have been served.. I cannot believe we spent 26 dollars to take 2 bites amd throw the food away because we felt it was not eatable....The owner should pay attention to his reviews because this place should be closed!!Will never eat here againWARNING EVERYONE.. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

I purchased a baked potato with chicken and shrimp, I only received shrimp and I called back to ask them about my order and the young lady said that I was lying and that the owner said return the food and he will remake it, I told them I was to far away and the owner said I don't refund money because I used my debit card. Very rude I will never go there again.

I didn't even want to post my entire catfish dinner to save them some embarrassment. This by far my least favorite meal this year from ANY food spot in Cleveland. The macaroni was dry and nasty, okra barely cooked and my catfish was just ok. The amount I received was inexcusable. I will never order from here again.
