Got food poisoning after eating. Would not stop throwing up, diarrhea. Mac and cheese is horrible, no flavor, hard. One piece of chicken, no option to choose your pieces.

The food was great the couple times that I’ve been but the only issue is that they hours of operation are inconsistent. If you can ever catch them open, make sure you stop in.

Excellent food and service. A lot of food for the money. I got the chicken, my wife got the meatloaf. Both were excellent. The beans are great too. 5 stars all around. The one small thing I would improve is like someone else said, to season the mash potatoes or have gravy. Other than that, excellent and I’ll be back soon.

I typically wait til I have ordered from somewhere more than once before I review it. I just received my 3rd order from Momma's Bowl. I'll rate them in order.1st (Ordered mid July) - 3/5 stars. Food was hot and fresh, pretty tasty. Would be a 4/5 but they were missing 2 sides I wanted. For try 2 I'd go earlier in the day. Decent food, not bad at all.2nd (Ordered late July) - 3/5 stars. Pretty much same as above but the food was a bit cold. Got this delivered through Door Dash. Once again were out of some sides but that happens. Again not bad but not spectacular.3rd (Ordered a few nights ago) - 1/5 stars. Bigger portions but food was cold and a bit hard. Also completely forgot my meat and side of a muffin. Ordered through Door Dash again but the package was sealed. They just forgot it. Sides were decent but missing the meat I had to reorder from somewhere else.

The food I had was so delicious. (I had BBQ chicken, Rice, Cornbread, Cabbage, and yams.) My son is a very picky eater and this was the first time I got him to eat literally every thing. Thank y’all ❤️

Their food is good except for the macaroni and cheese. Their hours need to be updated because they’re never open at the time it says online. I ordered through DoorDash and they canceled my order a few minutes later. I tried calling and they didn’t answer.

Didn't have order correct when I picked up order. Told me they had chicken breast but gave me thighs. Suppose to close at 9 pm but closed at 8 p.m soon as I walked in. It look like I got left overs at the end of the day. I won't be going back there. They need to be more organized and honest.

Was going to do a grubhub... went and it was closed. How are you setup on google and other platforms with hours listed and you’re not open?? Like hello you actually have to do the work. Says open online and ppl can order but there’s no one inside. B-lack businesses are so stressful doing things like that. Caucasian businesses are competent and smooth like it’s not that hard. This place deserves every amount of praise and recognition. No debate best soul food in Cleveland period.Nowhere else will u receive better taste,quality,service or quantity. Chipotle for soul food for cheap. I like that it’s still a hidden gem because lines are always short and food is always so fresh!! Simply the best

First time trying this restaurant, I got it delivered through DoorDash. It didn’t take long to get to me, thank the stars and I didn’t realize how close it was to me. I don’t know how they have it set up in the location but you have this biigggg ole bowl of side dishes and your choice of meat. I ordered the chicken wing bowl, it comes w/ three whole wings. My sides were baked beans, greens, macaroni and cheese, and mashed potatoes. It only comes with three sides and if you want an extra side it’s a up charge but it’s not too expensive. I thought for the price of the food, I received the right amount of food for the price. I loved my meal, I just didn’t like that the mashed was very very smooth. I like a thicker mashed and also I felt like my baked beans were too sweet. I don’t know what leaf they use for their greens but it was delicious, the onions are very long and might be too much but at least they are big enough that you can see them and pull them out. Can’t wait to try the meatloaf & shrimp. I will recommend everyone to try this place! P.S. if you don’t like for your food to touch, you might not like this place because all your food is in one bowl.

The food was good... First time eating yams with I think pineapples. The only thing I would suggest is to not have the chicken where people can contaminate it... Just like the other food the chicken shouldn't be on the counter with no shield cover. Staff was extra friendly!

But, they could make small improvements - season and salt mashed potatoes, which are good otherwise, cook the shrimp a little less, and Mac and cheese needs to not be in blocks where cheese had just solidified.The cabbage and collard greens were the best things from what we got.
