I exited at closing time to find my car which was parked on the street had been involved in an accident. Minor damage. I’ll be parking in the parking garage from now on.
I didn't catch the baristas name, but she had curly red-ish hair with glasses. I came in today very depressed having just learned of a Marine brother of mine passing away, and as I stood in a short line, I couldn't help but notice her personality. She was super kind, with a contagious smile that lit up the room. She greeted every customer with the same smile. The baristas are so sweet and the vibes are so cozy! The order ahead is always on time even during the morning rush for the past two years I’ve been here. However, the drinks are really inconsistent, maybe corporate didn’t send out the recipe. It’s a toss up over whether the mocha will taste like chocolate milk water or delicious. Starbucks Coffee Company is located in the Cedar Fairmount neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. The cafe has no drive‑thru and is mostly a to‑go destination for guests who use the app. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy, and there is an artificial fireplace where a group meets almost every day. Employees are always super nice and friendly. When orders are placed ahead, they are ready on time, even during morning rushes. Some days the service is excellent, other days it is not at all, but it has been improving in recent months.
The drinks are made quickly unless it is rush time on weekend mornings or early in the week. They are usually served very quickly, but the taste can be inconsistent. A mocha may taste like chocolate milk water or delicious, and a double berry matcha had only a dollop of berry foam. An iced matcha was fully mixed and yummy. The baristas are sweet and help with new flavors. A customer enjoyed coffee and a little cake while resting near a cemetery.
Parking is a little tricky; street parking is available but can be a challenge, and there are a few lots a walk away. Nearby, a bookstore and a wine shop are cute. The location is close to Cleveland Clinic and Case Western, making it convenient for visitors.
