Nice kosher market. Surprisingly large selection for such a small store. Fresh sushi and pastries aswell.

Accurate, I was charged way more on certain items than what was advertised

There was no line and yet the cashier made me wait and bring my basket directly under her hands with a rude motion

Got a donut and it was stale clearly not baked that day

Then she threw my groceries (which are not cheap)

The baked goods are tasteless. I wish they would keep the The same dbaker because before they had a good reputation for good pastries, not anymore.
Pastries are much smaller and size, but much higher on price.

Stopped into Unger's for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It looks like they’re doing some renovations, so parts of it have that old-school charm while other areas are getting a bit of a refresh. Other spots look like they need scrubbing. The donuts were excellent—fresh, flavorful. Self-serve. You can tell this place has been around a while. Some unique candy options I have not seen before. A payphone too!? No longer in service, I checked.

Always loved Ungar's and the upgrades take it to the next level! Bakery goods are awesome. The sushi is fantastic- both tasty and beautiful modern presentation for the platters! Very impressed!

I was visiting Cleveland for less than 24 hours and always heard good things about Ungars and wanted to try it. Totally lived up to the hype. Easily in the top 5 bakeries I have ever been to. If you are in the area you must try it. You can't go wrong. Everything I got from there was great!

Big disappointment…maybe it was better before? I should’ve known from just how full the case was at 4pm & the chocolate glaze melted off the bars. Super stale

I felt like a kid in a Bakery shop. So many choices. Everything looks delicious. And surprise, tastes like it looks: delicious! I purchased carrot cake, Russian tea biscuits, rye bread and more.
They did not disappoint.
This old timey bakery hasn’t lost the secret to making mouth watering baked goods look and TASTE mouth watering.
Friendly and helpful employees even while quite busy. A+
