We waited a good while to be seated or even greeted. We ordered drinks and the glassware for our margarita was completely busted on the bottom. To order food it took a good 20 mins and when we finally got our food we weren’t ever checked on, we had to glad our waiter down to get our bill or any refills. I also didn’t realize the quesadilla came in a small tortilla shell with only meat and cheese.
Thankfully the food was actually good and I ordered a side of rice, but wasn’t my cup of tea.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice with the unique blown glass chandeliers. We had a party of 13 that was accommodated by the staff. Although, I must admit the food is not up to par. Someone in our group ordered the queso Blanca that tasted mainly of milk and not your creamy cheese. Another person had the street corn and he expressed how he had better street corn at a gas station in Dallas. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas which hardly had any meat. They load it up with veggies on top as to disguise the smaller portion. The pineapple margarita was a good drink and would have been better if tequila was actually added to the drink. I'm a lightweight and well I couldn't taste it nor felt any different after drinking that huge drink. I would also cut back on adding chopped up pineapple to drink as it kept getting in straw with every sip. Everyone at the table said they would not come back to this establishment because the food was not at all good nor seasoned well. All in all the only good things was our server and the ambiance of this place.

My wife had seen this restaurant on a video posted on Facebook. When my family came up from Louisiana for the holidays, my wife suggested we drive the hour to go eat there. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!! The food was bland! It started out with bland queso and salsa dip, and only got worse from there. We had a party of 13 ( mix of adults and kids) . 4 out of 7 adults didn’t really eat because of how bland the food was! Then I had to use the bathroom and when I walked in it was dirty and falling apart!! I would never recommend anyone wasting their time or money in this place!!
The 1942 queso dip was the best thing I’ve ordered at a restaurant in a very long time. It comes with shrimp, steak, and pico… all in a queso dip. Everyone at the table LOVED it!!! My chicken fajitas were delicious, my friend liked her shrimp tacos and felt that they were generous with the portions. My other friends all liked their dishes too. Sooo glad we stopped here before going to a local concert!!! Would definitely be back, especially for that special 1942 queso dip!!

If you're in the Cleveland area and craving some delicious Mexican food, stop by here for a treat!! The food was so good and the decore was beautiful. Glass art hanging from the ceiling. I love mexican street corn, and it hit the spot. My friend got the 1942 special, and it comes with 3 proteins chicken, the most tender strak, and shrimp with veggies and street corn. We shall be back for those margaritas flights, lol

It was a busy Saturday night. I chose the restaurant for my wife’s birthday since she loves Mexican and I saw a FB reel from a food critic who said it was THE best he’s ever had. I ordered beef chimichangas, and they were smaller than I get at any other restaurant. My wife ordered the chicken fajitas. The veggies looked over cooked and there were no char marks at all. The chicken was so pale that it looked boiled. My wife said that the dish was very bland. It LOOKED bland.

Actually a nice place to go... The food was good and the drinks were great.... Only prob is we had the slowest waiter... So when you go Don't sit at the middle table behind the bar! The other servers were quick and more attentive... But all in all you should try this little gem in downtown
