Forgettable. The food wasn't bad but it was nothing special. Prices were reasonable though. Took a long time to receive our food. We were the only customers there at 1:30 on a Tuesday afternoon. Would not recommend. Then again, downtown Cleveland doesn't seem to have many lunch options under $25 that's not a brewpub. On the plus side, the interior is nice.

This was our first and last trip to this restaurant worst experience we have had in quite awile. When entering we were warned they had run put of fries which we were fine with it. My husband ordered thier macaroni and cheese with chicken and I a buger and chips ( which I was assures they had and had been using in place of fries. We waited over 40 minutes for our food his was very over cooked mushy my buger came out with no chips on a cold chibayta roll no bun with the wrong toppings. When I told the woman delivering the food it wasn'twasnt whordered. She she shrugged and said they were out. No one came out to let us know this just slapped something together and served it I explained I was allergic she said I could have a salad and walked away ( didn't bring a salad) when I asked someone else they walked away didn't ask a dressing or any questions ( so im assuming I'm not getting one) eventually one was brought couldn't eat it handed it back tried to make the best of my burger cut it in half and was a blue burger so I gave up sent it all back was originally brought a bill for the food not eaten. When told the server it was sent back did agree to remove it. If you run out of something tell your customers so they can reorder or leave. So very disappointing felt so ignored the whole time there

AJ Rocco's is a hidden gem at the corner of E9th and Huron in Cleveland OH.
Had my retirement party there that was put on by my employer and the 2nd floor event room they have is excellent for pre-game get togthers or corporate meetings. And the 2nd floor has its own bar so no running up and down the steps for drinks
Service and food were outstanding, plus the atmosphere of an old Cleveland building is throughout. The owners gutted it out and built back a real gem.
Check it out

Great service and good food before a Cavs game! Burger was fresh and better than the picture ! Peroni on draft !!
I heard about AJ Rocco’s from a good friend and they finally gave me the tour! We stopped in for a quick bite before a concert and the food WOW’d me! Our server gave us some great recommendations for food! We started with pizzas and they were great! Nice and thin, and fresh and hot! The wings and fries came up next and the wings were to DIE for! That sauce and how they were cooked were perfection. If and when you stop by, get the WINGS!! Our drinks were brought out quickly and overall, I really enjoyed my experience! The building is EXTREMELY beautiful inside and out! Knowing there’s an AirBnB above and a place to rent out space up top keeps this place in mind for bigger gatherings in downtown! Excellent experience with AJ Rocco’s!!

I can't say that I was impressed enough to come back. While the staff was friendly and we came in at a time that started off not too busy, we waited way too long for everything. Food came out cold, sent back the pizza. The cheese was coagulated because it had been sitting out waiting to be delivered far too long. The chicken pita app was super disappointing - yes, plenty of chicken, but barely a dollop of hummus, let alone enough to use for each pita provided to make a decent bite. The prices weren't overly out of control, but the food definitely didn't live up to the cost. Assuredly understaffed especially on a busy weekend. I can't imagine being there right about when we left as they became overwhelmed with fans leaving March Madness. Poor suckers were in for a very disappointing experience. Not a good impression for out of towners. Whatever, nobody takes pride in their work anymore so not surprised it was lackluster.
We hosted our rehearsal dinner in the upstairs space and it was exactly what we wanted! The service and food were so good (friends and family raved about the wings and mini sliders). The bartender had the best personality and Brendan the owner was so kind throughout the planning process.
We had a mixer at AJ Rocco’s. Food was excellent. Service was immaculate and most importantly they made our group of 30 feel comfortable and welcome. We’ll be back.
OMG, I just inhaled my take-out order. It was small but mighty. It was sooo good. I ordered the special which was a portobello mushroom sandwhich. For this new vegetarian, the flavor was amazing. And the fresh cut French fries were awesome too. It’s easy to pass by this spot on the street but don’t.
Absolutely amazing! Love my guy Joey!
