Owner and his wife are not polite and welcoming....went with a group of my people and we are sitting and laughing at the table and they said we we're too loud...wtf....we're spending money and sitting there trying to enjoy ourselves....dead atmosphere...need a DJ to make atmosphere better...and drinks are too high
This place has a convicted pedophile preparing the food their patrons eat. And they know about it. So if you’re comfortable having the hands of a sick child molester touching your food, this place is for you
When I mention Academy Tavern I mention “Cheers,” where every one knows your name. The establishment provides great food, great pricing, personable and timely bar staff, and conversation with anyone and everyone. Owner, Jessica’s smile and giggles are heart warming, and Owner Chris makes sure every woman is walked to her car by a man in the restaurant if not himself. If this isn’t community, I don’t know what is.
