I had an appointment in the morning in the fifth third Bank building. I stopped here to get a breakfast. The bread was really fresh and the ingredients were delicious. I had the sandwich that comes with eggs cheese avocado.

This has become one of my favorite lunch spots. My food is always done before I'm finished paying for it. Quick. Close to work. Good prices. Perfect.

I walked in this morning to finish some work, and the guy working told me I could not sit down until I got some coffee. I did not even get a chance to put my belongings down. He was not polite when I walked in and his first words were "do you need anything," as soon as I walked through the door. He told me I had to leave If did not get food, and I planned on getting food once I sat down. Do not go to this place they are very unprofessional. I am a black male and walked in minding my business and went to sit in the corner. I have never heard of any place demanding that you buy coffee or food before you could sit down. Just awful service.

Well, they open at 7a, but apparently that only means the doors are unlocked. One would think if a business is open, they are actually ready with product. Not in this case. The only thing 'fresh' was oatmeal. All pastries (what few there were) were obviously left from the previous day, and the selection was very, very thin. I've been to other locations and they were great, but I will avoid this one going forward. And parking, even at 7a is impossible. All spots in front of the building are taken by employees of the Caribbean task force located in the building.

You would think that when the menu states that a sandwich has two eggs, that you would get two eggs. Well not here. Pretty pathetic that the lady behind the counter feels like she has to do that. She also needs to get a better attitude and spell names right. Pretty disrespectful and if the roles were reversed, my god you know she would have a "Karen" moment.

This Au Bon Pain has been around as long as I can remember - as long ago as when I was still a grad student spending the summer in the Land. If the interior of this downtown Cleveland location reminds you of a Panera location, the similarities aren't accidental: it was the old Au Bon Pain company that bought Panera and expanded it in the '90s. So much so that Panera eclipsed the original Au Bon Pain and sold it off. Twice. When I stopped by on a recent weekday morning, I found the interior virtually empty, but at least meant that I could park myself here for a couple of hours and work remotely. A breakfast sandwich on "thin" bread was prepared quickly and, although exactly what I expected, was unremarkable. Baked goods looked attractive but were mass-produced. Still, a dependable place if you're looking for an experience that is like Panera in everything but name.

Expensive small sandwiches. Generic dining overall. Not worth it. There are better options.

We took out from this location. Service was quick and my sandwich was good. The selection of sandwiches and salads was decent. To top it off, my cookie was good.

Good and quick food. Thanks to covid their soup options are smaller but as always delicious. Their pastries are also good as well. They are a bit on the expensive side for quantity but you get what you pay for in quality. Due to its proximity to me, I don't go as often as I'd like.
