The atmosphere was good. Our server was super friendly. Margaritas were great! Food could have been better. Had some steak tacos with corn tortillas and the corn tortillas were cold, but overall it was okay.
Awful experience, the waitstaff ALL agreed like they didn't want to be they'd, order cans or song, tasted terrible, had no salt. Table was dirty and they didn't even have cutlery to eat the bowls with.
Spent a weekend in Tampa to check out the zoo for my kiddos. Had a rare opportunity to head out for a girls night so we decided to check out the Ybor City location. We wanted a good margarita and our bartenders delivered! Nick and Ben made great drinks, were polite and friendly. They are definitely an asset to this establishment! We will be back to check out the food and have another great margarita perfecto.
Had a girls night and wanted some margaritas and found this fabulous place! It had a great atmosphere! The margarita flights were super tasty. Nick and Ben were the bartenders and they were very attentive, friendly and had great conversations with them! Definitely recommend this place and will come back when in the area again!
Probably the worst margarita on the block, nothing but lime juice. Made my eyes water. Employees everywhere just gossiping and not working. Took easily 10 minutes to get served at the bar and it was only because a dishwasher came over and saw us sitting there. Don’t waste your time. Hostess was vaping at the front. Clearly nobody watches the employees here. 5/15 at 8:50pm whoever owns this place either doesn’t care or needs to supervise better. Worst experience ever.
Barrio has a fun dive bar vibe and fair prices. The food’s decent, but nothing to rave about.
The La Tierra secret sauce is the standout — spicy, flavorful, and worth asking for extra.
The monthly special had a great idea but missed the mark. Where was the Nashville hot sauce? That heat could’ve pulled everything together.
The chipotle chicken ranch taco was bland and forgettable.
Overall, it’s a decent spot to grab casual tacos and drinks, but not every item delivers. Good for the vibe, just temper your expectations.
How long does it take to make tacos? Really not long, yet they couldn't fulfill a simple box to go in less than 30 minutes!
If you need to get to an event on time, don't go here. I ordered online for carryout and didn't get my food until 16 minutes after the pickup time that I was quoted. The tacos were messy and mediocre. Chips, queso, and guac were pretty decent. The restaurant itself had a good atmosphere.
Went in on a Sunday afternoon. Not busy or packed. The hostess was rude. She seemed annoyed we walked in. She sat us at a table in a separate room away from the main dining area (our table was the only table with customers in this separate room). Hostess wiped down the table with her hand to dust off leftover food. Our table of 4 sat for about 20 minutes. Staff went in and out of the kitchen past our table several times, with no service, no water, drinks, or acknowledgment. We left. Hostess watched us walk out and didn't say or mention anything. This place seems to have great potential, a great location, and I would have loved to try the food or drinks. However, we never served, greeted, or given the opportunity. Best of luck, I hope things improve.
This was, by far, one of the best experiences ever! The food, the atmosphere, and the service were comparable to none!

Sadly our service was terrible and the bowls had scant ingredients, just mostly rice.
This was by far the worst food I think I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I order a custom steak taco and it was so raw that it was still blue. They at least took it off of my order, but the salsa had so much liquid on it that it made everything soggy. We ordered the buffalo chicken queso as an appetizer and it was very disappointing. It wasn’t mixed and it was like they took canned chicken and threw it in there as there was this weird juice on the top that watered it down and made it taste weird and the chips were cold. Honestly everything we had was either luke warm or cold. Honestly will never come back.
The food here was so good and so cheap! We loved the build your own tacos. The prices were good and there were a lot of options. It was surprising to us how little our bill was considering we were downtown. I would recommend anyone in the area to stop here, it was great!
Barrio has never disappointed and always delivered on a good time. The tacos are by no means authentic taqueria-style, but the combination of flavors and textures is still something to behold (think an elevated version of all the best parts about Taco Bell). The list of customizable taco options is massive if you're looking to make your own, but the chef selections are solid and worth your time as well. Service is always fast and friendly as well. I'm glad this place has stuck around so long in Cleveland, and I hope it stays jumping for a long time to come.
Over 20 minutes for a doordash order when it's dead af?
Yeah that's what happens when you get rid of anyone that gave a damn about the job
It takes 5 minutes tops for this order.
Good job Barrio, you always seem to lower the bar everytime I check.
