Three pieces of boiled beef laid to rest on a bowl of plain rice does not a burrito bowl make.

Great establishment. Drinks are made perfect with attention to details. Bartenders are on top it and ready to serve you. The system of ordering your taco with any ingredients is unique. You simply complete an order form with a pencil and select any combination you want. After you complete the small form the bar tender or waitress places the order with the kitchen. With little wait you receive your order which was totally delicious. I highly recommend this establishment. Enjoy the next time you are in Cleveland!

Long wait but worth it for the food. Tacos were excellent. Don’t bother with the cilantro lime rice. My coco loco margarita was meh. Don’t get that either.

As noted in the stars, service was great and atmosphere was very cool. First time in coming from out of town.We were hungry, and tacos sounded great. Sat at the bar and greeted by several friendly folks. Got some nice cold beers.Put in taco orders, I did picks from the chef menu. Tacos came out and looked good but sadly, they were literally stone cold. Like not cold from sitting out too long...Cold, As if all of the chicken and steak and sauce were pre cooked, refrigerated, and with zero attempt to reheat anything, dumped into a room temp taco shell (filings at chilly refrigerator temperature) and served. Ask my wife - I rarely complain or return food, I am not picky. This I simply couldn't eat. Bartender came to check, saw I wasn't eating. I told her, she was extremely nice, offered to redo the order. Order 2 came out pretty much the same, perhaps slightly less chilled. I stuck my finger into a cold center. Yuk.Gauc was great, chips great. These tacos however, sorry to say- were embarrassingly bad. Why isn't the protein fresh cooked and kept hot?? This was clearly not the case.I take from the other great reviews that this is not par for the course, but perhaps something for the management to look into.

Let me start off by saying that I LOVE Barrio but this review is specifically for the downtown location and their staff. Yesterday I was in town and called Barrio downtown at 9:50pm to place a pick up order. I was told it would be 10-15 minutes.I showed up with two friends about 10 minutes later and since there was no one at the host stand, we decided to go to the bar to let the bartender know we were there for a pick up order and that we were going to grab a beer while waiting. So around 10:05pm we told the bartender and she said she will let the host know (again, no one was at the host stand). The restaurant was slow, ton of tables open and there was staff all over the place. At 10:30, so 40 minutes since I called in our order, I said something to the bartender again because people at the bar ordered and got their food in about 10 minutes. She said I don’t really have much to do with to go orders, that goes through the host but I’ll let them know (still no one at the host stand). At 10:45 I said something again and said to the bartender “I was told at 9:50 that it would be 10-15 minutes.” She then again said she doesn’t have much to do with it and said sorry. Then out of no where the “host” appeared (a lady with blue hair), said “are you “insert name?” I said yes? She said “your order has been been at the host stand for 20 minutes. Usually when your order at the host stand, you pick up at the host stand” - as she aggressively kept pointing at the host stand. I said I called in the order and when I got here no one was at the host stand. And she said “yeah.. you go to the hast stand” while pointing again. Basically it was my fault for not going behind the host stand while no one was there and start looking for my food. The bartender obviously never communicated to the host that I was waiting for the food while at the bar like she said she did. The host was genuinely just rude and didn’t apologize for my food sitting for 20 min, and with tacos of course they were all soggy and cold at that point. Just a horrible way to act towards customers and the host and bartender on 3/23/24 at around 10pm ish should be embarrassed for horrible communication and essentially blaming customers. If you are still reading this, go to Barrio, it’s delicious…but stay away from this location. And if you order for pick up, just go behind the host stand on your own and start looking for your food apparently when no one is even there for you to pay

Ordered my food at 5:50 and they rang it in as ready to be picked up around 6:30. Got there at 7 and it still wasn’t even being prepared. They gave me my food and didn’t give me any utensils to eat with and the food/bag was all messy. The two women who were at the host table didn’t even care that it wasn’t ready and had no sense of urgency or compassion.
