Just went here for the 1st time today. Was looking forward to trying the Philly cheesesteak, and it looked good when I got it. When I started eating it though, it looked like it was just a chopped up frozen hamburger and only had 1 kind of cheese, was a bit burnt and fell apart after a couple bites. The fries tasted like old fry oil as well. My wife liked her cinnamon French toast.

Terrible food extremely greasy i been 2 days throwing up. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and the bread was so soggy like if it was sitting there for a while. Terrible service. I saw one of the waitress throwing the menu on the table to a customer. I would never recommend this place to anybody.

We used to go to Bob's Big Boy in Euclid when I was little until it closed and I thought they were all closed. So, imagine my surprise when I found this little gem in Brookpark! I have had many knock of burgers over the years chasing the original. I ordered the Super Big Boy, which is a Big Boy burger on steroids. It was absolutely the best burger ever. On the specials menu they had a creamcicle milkshake and this thing took me back to my 8 year old self, as it tasted 100% exactly like an orange creamcicle. The servers were all very cheerful and attentive. The experience was exactly the way it was decades ago. If you are anywhere even close to Brookpark, you gotta stop in and see what restaurants and service used to always be like.

I went to the Big Boy on Brookpark Rd. in Cleveland, Ohio on February 14, 2026. The next day, I was throwing up and had terrible diarrhea. I had to go to the hospital, and was admitted for 2 days, because I was so dehydrated from the food poisoning. It was the worst food poisoning I ever had. The restaurant was dirty and trashy. I will never go to this restaurant again. Also, it took an hour for my food to be ready.

Haven't been to a Big Boy in 30 years. My wife and I decide to give it a try for the Holiday. Both of us have a collective experience of 40 years in cooking and service industry. The host was less than presentable and like the entire staff looked as though they all had woken up from a party. We received 1 coffee in 30 minutes.It tasted like sand and then the host removed our menus to which we could no longer refer to when we ordered with another waitress. Every server was irritated hungover and on their phones. When the service got busy they seemed to work slower. My wife and I were about to leave after noticing the food drying out in the window with no hope of anyone delivering it. We persevered respectfully until my wife noticed her pancake was crinkled and covered in grissle from the flat top. This was hands down the worst dining experience we have endured in years and I honestly feel there is no excuse. Diner food is easy but all food service requires urgency,respect, passion, and standards.

Amanda was our waitress and she was perfect! Very attentive, friendly and really good at her job. The chocolate cake dessert was awesome! I gave atmosphere 3 stars because the staff was shouting back and forth to each other repeatedly. One girl saying she won't make the pies. Just unprofessional even for the type of restaurant. The other reason for 3 stars is condition of the restaurant. It was clean but in dire need of basic upkeep. Peeling paint on the ceiling and dingy shades with food splatter. The December specials are great. Nice visit and nostalgic for me. Thanks again Amanda!

We've been coming to this location for more than 30 years I have to say that the decline in the physical building as well as the food has all gone downhill. Several staff members were found wandering around not looking as if they were even employed. There was one man wandering around play lifting his shirt off and putting his finger in his belly button I saw him put his fingertips down the waist of his pants while he walked around doing nothing but sitting a couple of people and gossiping None of the staff look professionally dressed everybody had t-shirts and hoodies on and looked disheveled it was not the way that we remembered I was highly disappointed in the quality of the food add no presence of management or hair nets. I won't go back. I'm pretty certain I got food poisoning from the hamburger that was tasteless

The service was great the waitress was friendly we were seated right away she kept up on her drink refills but the food was terrible. All four people unsatisfied with the food barely warm soggy fries and the Philly steak was mostly burnt pieces of meat and before I ate half of it the bun fell apart because it was so soggy $90.00 bill for four people. The food was disgusting and I will never return that again this was actually my first and last visit to Bob's Big boy
