glad to see they aren't jacking prices up like everywhere else. Food was excellent and our waitress was good as well. My only complaint is the got rid of the salad bar and breakfast buffet.
The food was okay but our waitress was really nice and food was hot and fresh
Everybody was so friendly. Food is as usual very tasty. We loved all the vintage photos.
The food wasn't bad,it could have been better. But overall it wasn't bad. On the other hand our server was awesome. đ
Had a great lunch with sis and mom. Reminder of way back when Big Boy was a regular in Painesville/Mentor Ohio. Great food... Great service!!!
As always, the big boy burger in for the save. Always a favorite when i'm in the valley area
Food was good but the service was subpar - waited a long time before being acknowledged and the server just kind of disappeared throughout the meal. They were also out of a lot of things but she said the truck âis coming tomorrowâ so that sucked.
It's all good food . Depends on what you want. Place changed a lot since i worked there when I was in high school.
Move over, Ronald â the real Big Mac lives here, and his name is Big Boy.
Stopped by Frischâs Big Boy on a road trip through Ohio and left with a belly full of greatness and a newfound respect for burger history. This place isnât just slinging burgers â itâs preserving a legacy. The Big Boy burger? Itâs like the Big Macâs cooler, older brother who never sold out. Juicy patties, crisp lettuce, special sauce that actually tastes special â itâs everything McDonaldâs wishes it could be.
You can taste the difference: the buns arenât squished, the meat has flavor, and the vibe screams retro Americana in the best way possible. Itâs like biting into the 1950s, minus the Cold War paranoia.
The cherry on top? They didnât skimp on the fries either â golden, crispy, and seasoned with the tears of McDonaldâs chefs realizing theyâve been beat.
This place is a national treasure. Protect it at all costs. Big Boy walked so the Big Mac could run (straight into mediocrity).
Love the Big boy and Onion rings

If there were negative stars, I would have rated Big Boy as a negative stars...worst experience at a restuarant I have ever had and thr food was lousy!
