Bless Up Jamaican Restaurant

I stopped by this afternoon. The sign said they open at 12 noon. I got there about 12:22 close to 12:30. They were closed. I called the number listed. They don’t answer, voicemail is full. And so now it is 1:57 PM I went back up there and they’re still closed. So I guess this is a sign for me that I don’t need their food. That’s exactly what I did. The only sign I saw was a click and hours of operation along with other advertisement. Thank you anyway.

The food is good. My only problem is they put to much juice, sauce from the meats to where it's all over the rest of your food. So your cabbage, Mac and cheese or rice has that meat juice/sauce all over it.

Wanted something spicy went here because I read the reviews ordered the jerk, chicken rice, and cabbage. It was very sloppy. The jerk chicken was not spicy. It was more so salty. Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for Jamaican food.

An astonishing jewel, I discovered them doing a map search while in route home. I have tried numerous Jamaican restaurants in Cleveland and have been let down. I didn’t think I could eat Jamaican cuisine outside my own home. Irie 🇯🇲 plantains and med stew chicken.

Who cares about atmosphere. Get in, get your food, get out and ride the flavor train. If you like it spicy, get the hot jerk chicken. If you like it mild, the curry goat or oxtail is for you. Excellent food, excellent people, excellent service.

Place is very small, didn't get to try the food. Service is horrible, long wait. Staff is very rude and aggressive. It was another customer that asked about her order and for some reason the cook thought I was that customer. He said I have to take care of the people that order before you. I said okay, i didn't say anything, I'm just waiting. He said yea I'm just telling you, don't come in here with that bullshit. I said I'm sorry, I didn't hear you. He repeated it. I left. You will not be unnecessary rude to me and get my money. I left. Never will return.

Response to Owner: Im 100 percentsure of the places I visit, I dont get paid for my reviews. A apology would had been nice also.

Everything on the menu is on point. Was hard to find a place like this since I’m from NYC

I love this restaurant the couple that owns it is awesome I’m pregnant and I crave the food I eat here three days out the week. Best Jamaican spot in Cleveland 🥰

Best Jamaican food in Cleveland! I’ve tried so many all over NE Ohio & I haven’t found one that beats it yet. I drive nearly an hour just to get it 🫶. Good prices, good portions, & good customer service! I recommend this every time someone tells me they want good Jamaican food ❤️.

I had never eaten Jamaican food before but always wanted to try it and I am so glad Bless Up was my first!!! So fresh, so many spices and well cooked. The meats were succulent and the sides were amazing, thank you for such a wonderful Jamaican experience!!!❤️‍🔥

The service was good. The food tremendous. The establishment a bit small. I visited and ordered a large jerk chicken. And yes it was large! And yes, it was JERK. Too often of late I find myself having jerk with no spice, but today Bless Up answered the bell. The macaroni is fair. Not paying $5 again for it but it was definitely good. I'll be going back again for sure. That chicken is falling off the bone!

This was my first time at their restaurant and I will be coming back!!! The oxtails were cooked to perfection, sauce is A1 not A2. And the rice sheezzzz that was fire. Can’t wait to be back on that side of town I’m coming back!
