Cassa is the best place to get lunch in downtown. The people that run it are dedicated to their business and are very friendly. Their falafel is the best around and their bowls are healthy and affordable.

I don't normally review places because I'm lazy, but felt the need for this spot. TL;DR: 5 stars. Everything about this place is great. It was recommended to me by a student and I'm glad I followed through. The food, the service, and the location are all great. I've been overseas a number of times and the food/quality here nailed it. Everything I tasted was great and there was so much flavor. The only "negative" factor in the entire thing was the size of my stomach. I had to ask for a lid so I could eat the remaining part of my meal at home because I was so full. All in all, I highly recommend this place especially if you're coming downtown for a play or show. I'll be back here in the future many more times, inshallah.

Wonderful veggie options, I stop in every time I work downtown. The people behind the counter are genuinely kind and have made themselves a staple of the robust kitchen community of Cleveland.Couldn’t recommend enough!Vegetarian options: There are a plethora of veggie options both hot and cold behind the counter to build to your taste. Unlike most places, the veggie options are not an afterthought, they are substantial fixtures of the ensemble. Vegetarians will not be left hungry at CASSA!
I can't say enough good things about Cassa. I've been twice since starting a new job in the area and it's the best Mediterranean bowl style place in all of Greater Cleveland, and perhaps even the best fast casual restaurant. You won't regret trying it.

Came for the first time had the shawruma chicken. I'm not Middle Eastern so I didn't know many of the items but everything was really good. Loved the cauliflower the humus had both white and brown rice. The price was only 10.50 and two people ate out of one plate.We will be going there again. Only problem I found was parking because it's by CSU and playhouse square so you know how it is over there.
I wish I lived nearby this place! The owner is so kind and the food is exceptional! Can't wait to go back. Great place whether you're vegan/vegetarian or a meat eater.

A lot of variety for making a bowl. Though I've only tried the bowls out I saw you can also do pita which I'm interested in trying out. You can get lettuce and different meats including chicken schwarma. They have hummus, salsa, quinoa, and a lot of different sauces.Vegetarian options: Lettuce chickpeas hummus quinoa couscous
