we loved this place the service was great the food was delish and the drinks were show stoppers...an absolute must try if you get the chance!!
We stopped for a couple of martinis after the Guardians game and sat outside on the patio. Our ice cold martinis with chocolate around the rim was the perfect ending to our evening.
Nice atmosphere, fun drink options and shirts with hilarious sayings. The buffalo chicken nachos were a huge hit! Loved every bite! Pared well with a Pineapple Mojito
It looked so inviting from outside and even when we first entered. The manager/host was welcoming and professional. Our server (Chantel) was welcoming. I didn’t have any drinks but my friends liked their drinks. I had the plant burger with sweet potatoes fries. The burger wasn’t that great. I’ve had similar burgers, and they were actually good. The sweet potato fries were really good. The food was okay, but I wouldn’t go back. Also, their bathroom looks like something from a episode of “Law & Order). It looked like a subway station. It’s looks scary for a woman or even a man to go alone. . We had great server (Chantel). Don’t think I’ll be back or recommend though.
We were headed back to Michigan and stopped here to have lunch. They were just opening so we were the first customers of the day. The service and drinks were great but the food was not pleasing. My Husband's chicken and waffles were horribly burnt. He sent the first order back and the 2nd order came back burnt as well.We will not try this restaurant for food again.
This is one amazing restaurant/bar with staff that work really well together and they are amazing people. They have fun while doing a fantastic job (This is how it should be) and are very REAL and FRIENDLY! The drinks and choice of drinks is well beyond expectations and AMAZING!Thank you!
When we walked into the Chocolate Bar, we were immediately greeted by the host who informed us that although the bar was fully staffed, the kitchen is running a little longer than normal. We were 5 ladies and were not in a hurry...so we said "ok!". We were really glad we did because we had the absolute best server ANY of us have ever experienced. Although they were super busy (it was Saturday @ 5PM) with some large parties, Nicole was extremely attentive through our entire visit. She has the absolute best personality and always acted like we were her only customers. On top of this outstanding service, the food and drinks were yummy and did not take nearly as long as we were prepared for!
Excited to see a "chocolate bar" in an unexpected walk by and had to stop. Was initially excited to be greeted by a smiling face at the door, seeing t-shirts with "will sell husband for chocolate" for sale, and an attentive bartender who did a great job serving us. We only came for dessert only and ordered a slice of red velvet and Oreo cake and was very disappointed. The cake seem old, not fresh, and the red velvet was very very very dry. Compared to the Cheesecake Factory, the Cheesecake Factory similar items blows this place away. Would not go back here for desert for sure. Shame that the workers and atmosphere were nice, but the dessert quality lacking
We stopped here for after dinner drinks and dessert. I got a spiked hot chocolate and turtle cheesecake with WARM BOURBON CARAMEL BACON SAUCE.... Yeah, you read that right. Everything was great and our bartender was super sweet.
We were visiting Ohio from Michigan for my Husband's birthday. They opened a little before 3pm to accommodate us. My food (Roast)was good, our drinks were good and service was great. My Husband's Chicken & Waffles were extremely BURNT. He asked for another waffle and he new waffle came back BURNT and cool... Normally restaurants would remove the unpleasant meal from the bill but unfortunately he had to pay for the meal he didn't get to enjoy. If we come back it'll only be for the drinks...
Restaurantji Recommends
And the manicotti was AWFUL. Not Italian spices…very bad taste
This restaurant is really the best part of the Cleveland Arcade at this date/time. They have a terrific menu with lots of drink, meal and dessert options. Judging by how busy they are, get there early. The atmosphere is fun and very lively. However, this is not the place for you if you're looking for a quiet meal and conversation.
Besides the good food they have there, there's a wide variety of delicious chocolate martinis to choose from. Also, I always get good service there, and I love the location - the old historic arcade of downtown Cleveland. It's only a short walk from Public Square.
The restaurant is known for its chocolate martinis but don't overlook it's spiked hot chocolate which is awesome. Food is very good and be sure to order one of many fabulous desserts. A MUST stop when visiting Cleveland.
Fabulous food! Wonderful drinks! Our waitress was so fun and friendly. The head chef came out to speak with us a couple times. Just an all around pleasant experience. On an additional note. Took some Turtle cheesecake to go. Wow! Delicious!
