If you want excellent nutritious food (I love their chicken and brown basmati rice bowl), served by professional, friendly, terrific people in a sparkling clean restaurant, this Choolah location is for you. I love this place and I am so grateful that it is located in Ohio City. Outstanding!

My server Krissia was wonderful. She helped me understand the different choices on the menu. She had a very warm and welcoming personality. The Tikki Masala was so good!

As my title said ctoquettes are tasty but they have a lot of different vegan bases and curries you can get most are vegan and they have brown basmati rice a bonus
This is a a good alternative to Chipotle... I like their Western presentation of Indian foods. Indian dishes like paneer, chickpea masala, rajma (black lentils) and many more are blended with America familiarities like roasted corn and other western ingredients to give a unique presentation that actually tastes good!
I like the make your own bowl options here a bit better than the chipotle counterpart.

Best bowl I ever had. Way tastier than other Chipotle, Cava or Bibibop.

I had an exceptional experience at Choolaah! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The restaurant was super clean and even smelled inviting the moment I walked in.
What truly made my visit memorable, though, was the kindness and warmth from Savannah at the front counter. She greeted me with genuine friendliness, walked me through the menu with patience, and made the entire experience feel welcoming and personal. It’s rare to encounter that level of customer service, and it genuinely elevated my visit. I even ended up helping the next guest decide between Tikka and Butter Masala!
I’ll definitely be back! Thank you, Savannah!

I have been to this place multiple times but the last two times including yesterday were disappointing. I ordered 3 chicken wraps and samosa and 2 drinks. The meat portion in the wraps was close to none. It was mostly rice with few very small pieces of chicken. I feel like inflation is hitting them hard and they are food costing and it’s showing in the food quantity. I spent $33 and felt robbed. I will not be visiting this location again. I would ask the ownership to be not greedy and stingy with portions and give people what they paid for with their hard earned money. I hate to leave a bad review but this has happened twice now to us

Excellent Tikka chicken bowls.
Terrible Naan. Too doughy Naan should be thin and crsipy

Sitting right in the heart of Ohio City, Choolaah is the kind of place you can swing by for a quick lunch or settle in for a casual dinner. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.
Choolaah is such a great concept with quick, healthy, and flavorful Indian food that never feels heavy. The food is always fresh and consistent, and the bowls strike the perfect balance of being customizable while still approachable for anyone new to Indian flavors.
I especially like the variety of proteins and sauces. From tofu and paneer to salmon and chicken, there is something for everyone. The lentil daal and tikka masala make the bowls hearty and satisfying without ever weighing you down. It is fast casual dining done right and one of the better healthy options you will find in the city.

Absolutely garbage food worst Indian I’ve had in my life got the pro bowl which is literally just meet and plain cauliflower and SWEET POTATOE. WHO PUTS SWEET POTATOE IN INDIAN LOL…. On top top of it the sweet potatoe was cut in huge chunks with skin that was inedible. The lamb meatballs I played $3 extra for were also just yuck and the tiki misala sauce was was the worst I’ve ever had. You also order through a computer without seeing any of the food in front of you. If you saw the food you would turn around and go walk out before ordering I can promise you that
