Three family members and I visited Civilization on Mother's Day because it's my mom's favorite coffee place in Ohio. It was my first visit but now I see why it's her favorite. The staff was friendly and attentive and the coffee was excellent!
Great coffee shop at the corner of Lincoln Park, in my favorite Cleveland neighborhood. Friendly staff and patrons. The original decor was maintained which I like. Outdoor seating in booths or outdoor seating with a view.
Early Sunday morning at 5:30 am, I received a call from one of my nephews who was in a car accident. Thankfully he wasn’t hurt but we had to travel to Cleveland to pick him up so we ended up stopping by the nearest coffee shop. Tremont has a hidden treasure in this shop…delicious coffee, breakfast choices & bakery items as well. I enjoyed speaking a little Russian while I waited for my coffee.
