Great cappuccino and tasty full pastries. This is a great coffee shop in the middle of a food desert. While Cleveland tries to promote a 10 or 15 minute city without any grocery options other than the West Side Market that has extremely limited hours for office workers, this coffee shop is a great place to hang out, any time of day. Three family members and I visited Civilization on Mother's Day because it's my mom's favorite coffee place in Ohio. It was my first visit but now I see why it's her favorite. The staff was friendly and attentive and the coffee was excellent!
Great coffee shop at the corner of Lincoln Park, in my favorite Cleveland neighborhood. Friendly staff and patrons. The original decor was maintained which I like. Outdoor seating in booths or outdoor seating with a view.
