This place is a cleveland vegan gem. I’m a sucker for unique cocktails. The servers are lovely and the seasonal menu just keeps you coming back for more!! There’s always a wait when I go, so book ahead if you can. Updated from previous review on 2026-03-04

we really tried to give this lounge a solid shot and visited about three times when it first opened. the cocktails themselves are excellent in terms of taste and presentation; they steal the show, and for good reason as they're innovative and gorgeous concoctions. while conceptually enticing, the food itself is okay at best. portions are small, including the main courses, that share the same trait of being inoffensively bland to act as complementary side acts to the drinks. this creates a thrilling, sexy, but quick(ie) of an experience that leaves an overall disappointing impression when paired with the descriptions and beautiful art on the seasonal menu. if you're okay with that, then go for it, but manage your expectations to maximize your visit. The drinks and food here are second to none. Seriously, the bartenders and chef are artists, and I would love to come here often to enjoy them. Ambiance is great too. However, sometime in the last year they implemented a 90 minute policy and you are no longer welcome to stay longer than that. That totally ruined our experience. After one hour, in which we had ordered two rounds of food and 3 rounds of drinks, the host came and told us that another party would be coming in 30 minutes and she made it clear that we would need to leave. Our server reinforced this. We had been having a fantastic time, but after that all we could talk about was how rude that was and how they made it feel like we were not important. We had been planning to stick around for another hour or two and pay for plenty more drinks and food. Now I don’t even want to go back. Way to ruin a great thing, guys. A good dinner should take 2 hours at least, and a cocktail lounge where you’re supposed to relax and enjoy many inventive and delicious drinks (not to mention great food) should take even longer. 90 minutes is not okay. Value the guests you have rather than hoping somebody else will come and replace them.

The title says it all! I love that they don’t do the same menu twice and focus on seasonal produce centered entrees. The drink you get right when you sit in is the coolest thing I have every experience yet such a simple thing. Everything we had on the bah humbug menu was fantastic. Cloak and Dagger has an intimate, witchy vibe. Low lighting and eclectic decorations add to the ambiance. I appreciate that the menu has daggers to indicate how strong a drink is and the 3 daggers aren't messing around. I also appreciate that most drinks could be done without alcohol. The bartender was very knowledgeable at guiding my husband and I on drinks to try. Smaller Acts was my favorite. We also had the perogis which were delicious. Highly recommend as a down to earth cocktail bar with great vibes. Extra points that they give the bill in a book you can write a note in.

Been wanting to try this place out. Interior is interesting and cozy. The drink menu is fun and changes weekly. We only had the fries, but they were yummy.

Where I’m not a fan is the reservation situation at the bar. I worked in the service industry for years and understand reservations being an important tool to manage small restaurants and keep order. However, I’m not a fan of reservations for bar seats. Of course this is a choice they have decided is best for their restaurant, yet having a time limit on my time at a bar is just not for me.

Additionally, personally, I enjoy more engagement from bartenders. Though our bartender was professional, she was all business and had no interest in asking questions or interacting.

If you don’t mind reservations at the bar and a strictly professional interaction with your bartender then check this place out!
