This is probably my favorite restaurant in Cleveland. Beautiful design, delicious food, great service. We had the strip steak which was incredible, and a flour-less chocolate cake which was equally awesome!
The pianist was wonderful! The atmosphere was delightful! The hostess showed fantastic hospitality. The food was ok. I had the fillet. I've had better cuts of meat. I was really looking forward to the mushroom gravy that compliments it. It was delicious! However, it was overpowered by the peppercorn on the filet. Maybe I'm just not a fan of peppercorn encrusted filet. The challenge was that the lighting was too dim for me to reduce the amount of peppercorn that actually...
Let me preface this review with the fact that my husband and I consider ourselves "foodies," and the couple we dined with, more on the picky side. We started with the Vietnamese spring roll appetizer; absolutely perfect and a nice-sized portion (they were much larger than any spring rolls I've ever had). My girlfriend and I ordered the trout, and our husbands got the pork schnitzel with rosemary spatzle. We all loved our meals, but wish we had split our entrees...
