Best best soul food in Cleveland hands down. 5 đ the wings the greens the macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes and the banana pudding. Oh my God everything was so delicious and the customer service was excellent. That establishment is beautifully decorated with history memorabilia. Definitely going back. đŻ

Food was not as good as people claim. The cornbread was extra dry and didn't taste good. The greens tasted like they were cooked in sugar, mac and cheese tasted unpleasant, yams were not good either. Some parts were hard and stringy. The chicken was delicious though. Nice picnic bench type tables to eat at and convenient clean bathroom area.

I was so disappointed with this food! The greens had too much sugar and vinegar or liquid smoke and the mac & cheese was dry and flavorless, the wings were not what I expected. I don't think I'll try this spot again

I was in Cleveland for business and stop in to try the chicken dinner. Very very good, the chicken was excellent and very flavorful. The Mac and cheese was excellent and the Banana Pudding and Ginger Aid was amazing!
I really go out of my way to support my people just to put money into Black owned business. And honestly? I regret it. Today. Not only did I not walk out with a joyful experience, I walked out feeling annoyed. I asked for a sample. Got it. Then I asked for a second sample to help me decide my side dish & I genuinely only needed those 2 samples to help me decide & I stated that & Instead of professionalism I got a unnecessary smart mouth response. Over a spoonful? Youâre acting like letting customers taste the food is going to take away from your profit, when in reality it couldâve added money to your pocket. I was a paying customer with a $33 tab, and it couldâve been more if you just gave me that one tiny sample. Thatâs literally how sales works. DUHHH. Suppose I liked it. I couldâve asked for an additional side resulting in more money for you but anyways letâs talk about basic manners. During the checkout process, or even as I walked out, not a single âthank youâ âhave a nice dayâ â thanks for stopping in â or even a simple smile. Nothing. You know kindness really goes a long way you never know how someone day is going & that lil gesture of kindness couldâve went a long way but anyways to wrap it all up EVEN WITHOUT THE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE let me put the bad customer service aside ⊠the food still wasnât that good fr !
