A Gem on East 4th Street! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cordelia and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
The Location: The restaurant is located on the iconic East 4th Street, which has such a vibrant and lively atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a night out in downtown Cleveland.
The Food: Everything we ordered was exceptional, but if you go, the Burger Box is the way to go! It was absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the meal.
Overall Vibe: Great food, great service, and located on one of the best streets in the city.
I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Cleveland!

Service and atmosphere was amazing. The food wasn't really for us but the restaurant was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying their dishes. Wife and I would return and hang at the bar for cocktails and environment but not for the food.

I ordered the tasting menu, and overall I don’t think it was well structured. 1. Dish pairing: The dishes didn’t always work well together. For example, we were served fish with a Caesar-style salad. While each dish was ok on its own, they didn’t make much sense when paired. 2. Temperature issues: Several dishes were served at inconsistent or uncomfortable temperatures. The boiled eggs with sauce, served as an entrée, were very cold. The same issue occurred with the first dish—the fish was served warm/cold and paired with a cold salad. Starting the menu with two cold dishes didn’t feel appropriate, especially during winter. 3. Portion pacing: There was simply too much food. The best dishes came toward the end, when I was already full and couldn’t fully appreciate the flavors. The highlight of the menu was the pork belly. The low points were the crackers, cheese and egg, and the fish.

My wife and I ate here before going to the orchestra last night. We’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile but it never aligned up. We’ve tried walking in but they are very busy and you are lucky if you find a spot at the bar.
We chanced it and walked in right at dinner time and got the last 2 spots at the bar. They have a variety of good sounding drinks to choose from. We were just here to eat. Server was very quick to introduce herself, give menus and water, and was prompt and on point all night. Excellent service.
The food menu is smaller but with a lot of unique foods and flavor combos. They are designed as shareable dishes. We tried one of the cheeses, a carrot dish, the Jojo fries, fried chicken, and the burger box. All dishes tasted phenomenal! And we saw others at want to try. The flavors really shined on all dishes.
We will be going back and highly recommend to others!

We recently hosted a team event in the private dining room at Cordelia. The whole team was incredibly helpful in the planning leading up to the event -- especially the Event Director, Tony. We had a number of complex dietary restrictions and they were able to meet all of our needs and provide the most delicious meal. We spent a few hours enjoying each creative dish and spending time together as a team. The service was impeccable and the food next level. We highly recommend Cordelia to anyone considering it for a meal or a private gathering. Truly exceptional!

More Hype than great tasting food. We were told the burger could be enough for the whole table of four, that was not true and we were left hungry. The Fried Chicken Bucket was over cooked, dry, and lacked any taste or seasoning. It was more of a trial and error of checking this place out and ended up getting our answer, sadly we won’t be coming back.

Still one of the best restaurants in Cleveland! Food and atmosphere are delicious. We sat at a kitchen counter seat and loved watching the chefs work.
One of our favorites in Cleveland. The atmosphere and service are very welcoming, modern yet classic, familiar, and homey. I’m a particularly big fan of the furniture and the chinaware, which is an eclectic mix of plates and chairs you would find at a family member or friend’s house.
The menu is constantly changing, always fresh and interesting. I think the best way to order food here is family style - pick a handful of plates to share and pass around. The Bellie Up option (a sort of ‘full menu’ tasting) is also a good choice and worth your coin.
Can’t recommend Cordelia enough… especially if you want a break from the “typical” restaurant experience in Cleveland - this place is anything but.
