A quaint place for delicious Syrian food! Got the chicken on French fries and kibbeh. Their Garlic sauce is beyond delicious and the chicken was well seasoned. The gentleman who served us was very kind and friendly and gave us a tiramisu on the house, this type of customer service is genuine and rare. Highly recommend trying this place!

Wonderful restaurant! The chicken was seasoned very well and cooked perfectly. The sauces were absolutely amazing, authentic and soooo delicious. Very generous portions! Great prices! The best hummus and falafel we've had (the recipe was from Syria which was amazing). We had falafel w pickled veggies and tahini, chicken schwarma with hummus platter (came with fries too), chicken schwarma sandwiches with fries, garlic sauce, and a really good homemade red pepper sauce. We also had tabule which was so fresh and delicious.
All homemade and so delicious. 10/10 will be returning every time we come to Cleveland!

The shawarma was really good and so was the mixed platter. We had rice instead of fries for our platter and it was delicious. The fries on my sound dish were also nice and crispy.

I crave shawarma and grape leaves from Levant Shawarma, who happened to be closed today. Sad as it was, I persevered, and went a 1/4 mile west to Damascus Gate.
Boy am I glad I did! This meal is just as good and maybe better. We can just say different flavors.
The chicken shawarma has a rich flavor profile. It’s perfect. It’s not dry. It’s not sloppy. It sits right in the sweet spot.
Grape leaves came warm with some of sour taste cooked out. I like the sour taste. I also like this. Again, different flavors. Different is good here. Almost felt like it had a beef stock flavor. Delicious!
The lady at the counter gave me a free tiramisu(YUM) for waiting. Not only would I wait, I’d make reservations for the food here.
