We dined here recently and while it wasn’t busy, the experience felt rushed. Our server explained that the restaurant is typically busy before shows at the Playhouse Theater and slows down afterward, even mentioning they would have closed early if not for our reservation.

Although she was initially friendly, her attitude seemed to shift during the meal. At times she appeared irritated and disengaged, which impacted the overall atmosphere.

Near the end of dinner, the lights kept turning off and back on multiple times. It honestly felt like a hint that we should leave, which was VERY uncomfortable.

Food was mid.

Sadly, the service didn’t match what we hoped for.

If you need to have dinner walking distance to the theater, this is a choice. The atmosphere is nice. The service is professional. The food is beautifully plated. The short ribs were flavorful but a bit tough and the duck was a bit dry which is hard to accomplish with duck. Thank goodness for the sauce and the sides. They change the menu so you may get lucky. I’d give them another try.

This is some of the worst food I’ve eaten in cleveland for the price. Absolutely not worth the money. The service was fairly good but doesn’t make up for the atrocious food. Everything is clearly made from frozen, tasteless, and poorly done. I would stay very far away if you want anything half decent for the price.

We went just after the theatre crowd and had a wonderful time. Good food good service possibly a bit too quiet (unintentionally). We will definitely be back!

Enjoyed a lovely dinner before a concert at the Episcopal cathedral. Service and menu selection were great. Only downside is the blast of cold air that comes through the dining room when the front door is open.

The restaurant itself is nice and a great location to eat before heading to a show. No complaints on the service and cocktails were good. The side room for larger parties is very loud so do not plan to talk to the rest of your table since there is no sound absorption. The food needs serious work. We had a group of 12 and no one was happy with their dinner. I had to ask for salt and pepper and then nearly everyone at the table used it. The filet is not a filet as there was fat and gristle to cut off. The halibut was very over cooked, and you could tell sat under a heat lamp for quite some time. Mushroom risotto was flavorless. I could keep going, but you get the point.

We had a later reservation at 7 pm. We were literally the only people in there. So we had our wonderful waitress to ourselves. All the theater crowd was gone. I initially went to the district before a show but rushed through dinner. This time I enjoyed the delicious food I recommend

Great service, great food. Love the location. Perfect before or after a show at Playhouse Square.

Server was great. Food was not good. We Thad appetizer and salad. Wedge was good but small. Tuna was ok. Mussels had no flavor. The calamari was OK and the clams casino was a clam. Casino just won. There are far better restaurants in this area. Sorry will not be returning.

We had dinner and drinks here before the show at Playhouse Square. Everything was phenomenal! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be coming here again

I am so very disappointed by our experience here. At the beginning of our stay, we were the only ones in a back room and still the service was extremely slow. It took over 30 minutes for my cocktail. Our food took over an hour, we both ordered fish entrees. It did start getting busier so we gave them the benefit of the doubt… until our meal came out. The food was HORRIBLE. I mean when I say the worst meal we’ve ever had, it was the worst meal we’ve ever had. My husband got the special which was catfish? (Did not look like cat fish) looked like it was microwaved with a horrible sweet sauce. My halibut was dry and overcooked with Italian seasoning on top? The only edible part was the mashed potatoes, which weren’t great. They did comp our meals because of how terrible they were, but we had to go to our show hungry which was disappointing. I would recommend you NOT eat at this place.

Not great. Cocktails were good. Server completely miscommunicated the special (said it was sea bass with risotto, she brought tilapia & polenta to the table). The manager argued with me saying it was sea bass, then corrected himself saying "my seafood supplier was supposed to deliver sea bass." So I ordered scallops which came out without a sear on them AND the foot still attached! And the gummiest risotto ever. Never going back. When a restaurant charges over $30 for scallops the kitchen should know to remove the feet. Ridiculous.
