Double Nickel Brunch & Event space

Seen this posted on my timeliness and wanted to check it out! I was not disappointed! Cute space very comfortable and clean! Love the music vibes. We visited on a Thursday it wasn't crowded at all!
Service was fast and friendly! Would definitely recommend it.
We had their shrimp and grits with a side of potatoes, and the salmon croquettes both dishes were delicious! Definitely will be back!

My husband and I arrive, no one to greet us at the hostest stand. A male worker comes out the back "Where all yall come from" as if we were a bother to be guests. Another person bussing tables then acknowledges us more respectfully and tells us someone will be with us. A few moments later a woman comes around the corner no hello, no warm greeting, just a rude "how can I help you" seeming irritated. My husband let's her know we would like a table for 2, immediate response "we'll there's no tables you gonna have to wait". Typically when a restaurant has no open table the host let's a guest know that there is a wait and how long the wait is. She sat the group before us annoyed at them for having the audacity to have 5 people in their group. No where is it posted that they do not seat more than 4 people per group. She then came to get us with a come on and sat us at a table. Our server Tasha was very nice, however we were seated at 1:12pm and did not get food until 2:13pm. My husband was ready to leave at the 25min of waiting for food mark but I wanted to wait and have the full experience. Two coffees and two mimosoas in (one being complimentary because of the wait), our food came out luke warm to cold. It had been sitting for a while before it came to us. At this time we were ready to leave. We ate and we paid. FYI tip is included in the total 18%.

We had bottomless mimosas (pineapple and strawberry), the double nickel skillet and the breakfast burrito and they were all delicious! Portions are big without being too big. Service was friendly and quick. Would definitely come here again.

We love eating out, supporting restaurants, trying new places….
From the minute we walked in, the ENTIRE staff was rude, waited 20 minutes for 1 drink, bought bottomless mimosas and it took 20 minutes to get 1 drink, got silverware for delivered food 15 minutes later, the manager was horrible and argumentative. If this could be NO STARS it 100% would be.

food came out cold and I had a very bland BLT, waiting area is tiny so guests start spilling into dining spaces, service was lackluster and there is an automatic gratuity already on the bill. Id rather have a hot delicious brunch somewhere else. Try it once but you'll know this will not be a repeat spot

Stopped in today with my fiancé and omg I must say this food was a 10/10 everything was seasoned to perfection food came out hot customer service was top tier most definitely will be back

The food was delicious 😋. The presentation of the plates was nice... The shrimp and grits are next level.

The I would give the whole experience 7 out of 10 . We went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The parking situation is terrible on that street. The sitting wasn’t well. Although we had a party of 8 and I was told on the phone we didn’t need a reservation we had 2 sit at 2 different tables. They said it was a rule they couldn’t but the tables together. Although they had a room with a large booth that would have accommodated us and we couldn’t sit there. The food was order good. . Our waitress was not too attentive Lacey. She kept sitting down at the bar. We had to keep asking for her.
I would probably come again but not with a big group.
