A lovely, friendly bakery with pastry so good, it will change your day for the better. The gentleman behind the counter had an infectious, golden smile! What a nice place! I have never eaten such a delicious ham & cheese croissant - featuring an abundance of real carved ham (not just some crummy lunch meat) and super flavorful cheese. Wow! And the Almond Bar? What sort of alchemy is this? So toasty! And a hint of something fruity - Apricot? Date? Fig? Not sure, but it was scrumptious! Finally, the Palmier was so light - like eating sweet, buttery air!
I can’t wait to be a repeat customer. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
Nice staff, nice place, perfect place to have a good talk with a friend. Good food but it took a long time to get to the table.
Good prices. Pastry fresh and delicious.
Good food tasty. Price Good
I recently had breakfast at Edwin’s Bakery and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, with generous portions and a great variety of options. The prices were incredibly reasonable, making it a great value for the quality and quantity of food. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a tasty and affordable breakfast!

May 2024: I visited this place before during a book event in their library. This place has a reputation as a safe space where people can get a second chance. The cashier was very kind and confirmed that the rumors were true.
I ordered the Edwin Omelet (which had cheese, chorizo, onions, peppers, etc. inside it), seasoned home fries, and homemade biscuits for a surprising small price of $12. Everything was delicious. The biscuits were a bit dry and would pair great with gravy.
PROS:
* The food and service are good.
* a Cleveland area staple with a good reputation.
* Unique, cozy ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating
CONS;
* Limited parking. I parked at the Dollar store and walked over.
SUMMARY: I will return.
Parking: There are parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant along with some free parking lots within a short walking distance.

Solid, classic breakfast entrees, well prepared, and a bit cheaper than the competition. Plus your patronage benefits people who are reentering society.

It's definitely a go-to place to relax, read a good book, grab coffee or tea, a good Danish, and more. Mike was so helpful with all of my questions. He had an available booster seat so my son and I could dine in comfortably. The tea and food were very delicious. I had a salmon, spinach, mushrooms, and cheese omelet. All the flavors married well. The potatoes had just the right crunch. The French toast was just as tasteful. Unskilled you very much.P.S. try the " Breakfast in Paris" tea! ?
Kid-friendliness: Host had a sanitary booster for my son to use. Thank you ?

Wonderful gem of a French style bakery. I've been meaning to stop here and used Fat Tuesday and their Paczaki as an excuse, plus they made lavender and rose flavors. These were HUGE with a dense chewy dough and not overwhelmed by filling. Perfect and beyond delicious. (Sorry, local Polish Bakery, I'm hooked!) They have a range of scones, croissants, and sticky buns, plus brownies and lemon bars. Super reasonable prices and service, too. They serve breakfast in a cute side cafe. Coffees, teas, and special drinks available. Don't miss this spot!
