Authentic never tasted so good. A hidden gem
We've been eating here sporadically for years. Although the menu is pared down (we miss the deep fried avocados) and the host is also the server, the food is still excellent. I had the chicken coconut lime soup, a meal in itself. The soup had more ingredients than a wedding soup, all freshly cut and served mostly al dente. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the chef's hospitality is exceptional. However, be prepared for a wait as the restaurant often operates with a single staff member, who is also the cook and waiter. This can lead to delays and occasional mistakes with orders. Despite this, the food is amazing, and the chef's efforts are well worth the wait. Note that credit cards are accepted, but cash is also recommended. Parking is available, with some free spots and metered options.
