Wonderful evening. Started with an old fashioned and ended with bananas foster...both offer table side experiences. I had salmon for an entree... amazing and my wife at the short ribs, always exceptional. It was very busy, even for a 8:30 reservation, but never disappoints.

Fahrenheit brings with it a big name chef with an interesting menu, but falls short on service. Substitutions became an argument. Wrong items were received, or never showed up at all. The server obsessed over delivering in certain courses, despite us telling him we were in a hurry to a Cavs game and really didn't care. Then when the food did come, half of it was cold, including the special of the night an autumn bisque, which failed to warm the cockles as presented. I had wanted to visit this new location for quite some time and was disappointed that it didn't live up to my memory of the old establishment in Tremont.

The place has good scenery however their food is ok and a bit overpriced. The menu itself can use some improvements especially for entrees. Our waitress spoiled my wife's birthday dessert surprise which they forget to include happy birthday “my wife's name” on it. Overall if you're looking for upscale dining for an event or evening this place ranks bottom of the list but you won't be terribly disappointed if you do go there.

We had a reservation for 5:15 knowing we had to leave by 6:50pm. They offered us to sit upstairs and outside but when we went up there no tables were set and it was a casual dining experience. We asked for our reservation in the dining room and they said there would be a wait and to go grab a drink at the bar. At 5:40 we asked about our reservation and they said it would be another 20 minutes and we could eat at the bar if we wanted. We opted to sit at the casual dining space outside on the main level. It was nice but for $50+ a plate, we were there for the overall dining experience. The restaurant requires you to keep your reservation or they charge $50 a person on your card. To me that says they should rake reservations seriously and at least try and get us seated within a reasonable time frame, and follow up with us when it was running even more behind. I am honestly not sure they remembered we were at the bar. The food was excellent and the waitress worked hard to get us out in time for the show.

This area, when filled, had us literally back to back with 10 other couples, all trying to yell over each other in personal conversation. This uncomfortable environment made us start to judge everything and really see Fahrenheit is not worth its perceived exclusivity. Many other restaurants in CLE have better drinks, steaks and sushi for this price.
