My friend and I purchased coffees, but the staff told us we couldn't sit and drink them because we didn't purchase food. Of note, the cafe was empty at the time, so we weren't taking a table from someone else.

Guy did not acknowledge me when I entered and I had to get his attention after a minute of standing there when it was completely empty. No water or napkins or anything available. Good breakfast sandwich, however, bathroom was dirty and obvious it had not been cleaned in a while. Paper towel dispenser did not work either. Would have given a higher score until I saw the bathroom.

Very very bad service. Food was fine, nothing special, but the employee was not friendly or accommodating. Got kicked out after studying for an hour and a half while still sipping on my drink I had bought there.

I love the food. Everything is so tasty and fresh but it would be nice if they would change the bread to the sandwiches .... When asked.... They are nice in person but phone etiquette is not their specialty.

Stopped in because Google said it was a bakery. There were dozens of sandwich buns on the table and when I asked to buy one an extremely rude employee said no and turned his back to me and walked away. Unbelievable
What else is there to say that hasn’t already been said…to be brief, this place is very strange. Food is good. Coffee is fine. Service is terrible. I can’t even imagine why they act the way they do. I have lived in several cities that have notoriety for poor service, but even there I haven’t been treated like this. They complain when you only order coffee. Even ordering a pastry isn’t good enough for them to allow you to sit in their restaurant and eat. Coffee is only to go essentially. They are grumpy, always. Place should just close already. These people seem miserable.

The Fluffy Duck Cafe has some of the most atrocious service I’ve ever experienced. They're quite rude and not at all welcoming. Please stop treating your own customers so disrespectfully. Your food is nowhere near good enough to even take out let alone deal with such service.
