Geppetto's Pizza & Ribs (Middleburg Hts. Ohio)

TL;DR: Josh says this is the premier carry out restaurant in Northeast Ohio. Great food prepared by even better people, and a local business you can feel good about patronizing. Tell them Josh sent you, they WILL know who you're talking about!

If you've got the time and desire to read more, I'm about to preach. This is the only review on my Google account. I only have a Google account because my phone necessitates it. This is the one place I can think of that's worth my time and effort to promote.

I've been ordering carry out from Middleburg Heights Geppettos for about 20 years. When I lived in Middleburg, they were a bi-weekly indulgence. I don't live in range to get it quite as often these days but I drive by on the way home from work, so if the timing is right, I give them a shout.

Whether it's been a week or six months, when I call I'm greeted with joy from a team that's had a genuinely shocking lack of turnover over the years. In a business segment that churns through employees like butter, the staff retention combined with the truly pleasant interactions every time tells me that this is a good place to work.

It also means consistency. One of the reasons that national chains succeed over local joints is because you can typically trust that if you got something you liked, it will be the same the next time. But because of the staff longevity on offer here, you get the quality of a local restaurant with the consistency of a chain. I know exactly what my half slab rib meal is going to taste like, every time.

I have dined all over Northeast Ohio, with an eye towards places like this, pizza, wings, ribs. Geppetto's is the king of NEO, and the Middleburg Heights location is one you can feel especially good about patronizing. Support an incredible local business and let Geppetto's take care of your dinner tonight. I'm willing to bet the first time won't be the last time. And like I said, tell 'em Josh sent you!

I accidentally made an order to the wrong location. I meant to order to the location on Mayfield. I called to double check and it was too late to cancel my order. Totally my bad. I was not able to travel to the west side so I apologized and said they could donate the pizza to someone. The person I spoke to was so rude and asked why I didn’t check the location when I ordered. I mean yeah sure- I guess I didn’t realize there was more than 1 and I wasn’t blaming anyone for the mistake. I had pre-paid and gave a tip ahead of time. It was my bad and I wasted money. I’m not sure why the person I spoke to had to be condescending.

This place is awesome...Great Food, Wonderful people!! I'd give 10 stars if I could!

We ordered food from here yesterday and did a pick-up order. They had a special with pizza, wings, and ribs. We were not disappointed. Everything was absolutely delicious. If I could, I would give it all a hundred stars. The pizza was great, and the wings and ribs were so tender. The sauce was perfect. You have got to try this place. We can't wait to go back!!!

We had the ribs tonight, they were amazing! Fall off the bone with a delicious homemade BBQ sauce. I also got the baked beans n fries. Fries r jo jo's (delish) and the baked beans r the best. We Will be returning !!!

My fiancé and I have been here a few times already after trying to find a new pizza place, everything we've gotten so far eom here wqther it be pizza, ribs, garlic bread, wings have all been fantastic this has quickly become our go to pizza place

Wow. Was in the mood for ribs and remembered Geppettos supposedly had some pretty good ones. What I received were the best rack of ribs I've ever had in my life. Seriously these were amazing. Couldn't have been better.
